Most gym owners don’t have a retention problem.

They have a progression problem.

Members don’t stay because of random workouts r fancy scoreboards. They stay because they can see themselves improving.

Getting stronger.
Moving better.
Learning new skills.
Building confidence.

That’s exactly what our Affiliate Programme is designed to do.

Every week is carefully structured to balance strength, conditioning, skill development and recovery, ensuring members are challenged without being constantly beaten up.

The result?

✅ Better member retention
✅ More coaching development
✅ Increased member progression
✅ A stronger gym community

Because if a member looks back in 12 months and can’t see progress, something has gone wrong.

Programming should build people over time, not break them every session.

Programming That Builds The Foundation.

Learn. Develop. Build. Grow. Refine. Achieve. Compete.

Everybody starts somewhere different.

Some are stepping into structured training for the first time.
Some want to get stronger.
Some want to lose weight.
Some want to master skills they’ve never been able to do.
Some want to stand on a competition floor.

Wherever you start, our job is to meet you there and provide the coaching, programming and support to move you forward.

To help you learn.
To help you develop.
To help you build confidence.
To help you grow physically and mentally.
To help you refine your weaknesses.
To help you achieve goals you once thought were out of reach.
And if it’s what you want, to help you compete.

All of it backed by a community that genuinely wants to see you succeed.

This is more than just a training programme.

It’s a place to become better than you were yesterday.

GFC X FOURGED 🧡🧡

What a day at Fourged!

The GFC squad showed up in force, put their fitness to the test and absolutely delivered. We couldn’t be prouder of every athlete who stepped onto the competition floor.

Seeing people execute under pressure, trust their training and showcase the fitness they’ve built through months of consistent work was incredible to watch.

The results were great, but seeing the confidence, teamwork and determination on display meant even more.

A huge well done to everyone who competed and represented GFC Athlete.

Now it’s time to recover, reflect and get back to work.

Bring on the next one. 🔥

You Pay For What You Get… Right?

❌ Wrong.

In most industries, paying more often means better quality.

Online coaching isn’t always the same.

A £300 per month coaching service does not automatically produce better results than a £50 or £100 per month service.

We are not saying coaches should not charge what they believe their service is worth.

But you do need to understand that prices can be inflated by hundreds of pounds per month based on three things:

• How much a coach wants to earn per hour
• How efficient they are with their time
• Demand (if they have too many clients)

Because time is the one thing every coach is limited by.

At its core, every coach should be providing the fundamentals:

• Structured programming
• Training reviews
• Check-ins
• Programme adjustments
• Technique feedback
• Accountability
• Communication
• Answers to your questions
• Clear explanations

How long it takes a coach to deliver that service largely determines the price they charge.

If they use more expensive software, offer additional services, or choose to run a more expensive business, that will obviously be factored into the cost whether it’s needed or not!

That is business at the end of the day.

But none of that automatically means they are providing a better service.

And none of it guarantees you a better result.

Just because it has been dressed up with buzzwords to make it sound more premium than it actually is, does not mean it is a different service.

Smoke and mirrors!

There is no secret process that only a handful of coaches know.

The biggest factors in your progress are:

• How well you communicate with your coach
• How your weaknesses are addressed
• How your recovery and lifestyle are managed outside of training
• How consistently you follow the programme

Without those things, you could spend £1,000 per month and still get nowhere.

Coaching is a relationship.

It is about understanding your goals, identifying your weaknesses and building a plan that gets you where you want to go.

So before spending £250–£300 per month, ask yourself:

What am I actually getting for that extra money?

Because that money may be better off staying in your pocket.

“Coach, we did this last week.”

Good.

That is exactly the point.

Progress is not built by doing something new every session.
It is built by doing the right things consistently, long enough for your body to adapt.

Yes, training should be enjoyable.
But if your programme is built around entertainment instead of progression, it will only take you so far.

The work that actually moves the needle is rarely the most exciting:

• Progressive strength work
• Skill practice
• Technique refinement
• Accessory work
• Conditioning with a clear purpose

These are the pieces that build stronger, fitter and more capable athletes.

Most people are constantly chasing novelty.
New exercises.
New workouts.
New challenges.

But novelty does not guarantee progress.

Repetition does.

The athletes who improve the most are the ones willing to trust the process and keep showing up for the “boring” work.

Because boring works.

Stop looking for something new every week.

Master the fundamentals, repeat what matters, and watch your performance change.

The fastest way to improve your kipping gymnastics is to stop chasing the end movement and fix the real issue.

Week after week we see athletes trying to build capacity in their gymnastics without fixing the foundations these movements rely on.

So they keep scaling in metcons, keep hoping it will eventually click and 12 months later they are still in exactly the same place or may have 1 messy rep!

The problem is rarely effort.

The problem is focus or programming.

The pieces that actually drive progress are not glamorous, so they get ignored or never written.

🔸 Aggressive hip extension
This is where the power is generated. If you cannot open the hips hard and fast, your upper body has to do all the work.

🔸 Full body tension
Without tension, the power you create has nowhere to go. Energy leaks, rhythm breaks down and efficiency disappears.

Fix these two things and your gymnastics will improve immediately.

Better timing.
More efficiency.
Less fatigue.
Higher skill movements become far easier.

Stop trying to metcon your way to better gymnastics.

Build the foundation first, then the skills on top of it.

That is exactly how we programme inside GFC Athlete. 🧡🖤

Some journeys mean more than others ❤️🤍

I’ve had the privilege of coaching this athlete since she was 9 years old.

Countless hours on the training pitch, plenty of ups and downs and a huge amount of hard work have all led to this moment.

Seeing her this season taking the next step into adult football with Swindon Town F.C. is something I’m incredibly proud of, not just as a coach, but as her dad.

To be able to support her through GFC Athlete and sponsor her along the way makes this achievement even more special.

This is a reminder that long term progress comes from consistency, patience and doing the work when nobody is watching.

We’re proud to be a small part of her journey and excited to see where the next season takes her.

Now we just need to find someone to frame the shirt 🧡

Zoe is exactly why we built the Athlete Programme the way we did. 🧡

I began the 7 day free trial with GFC Athlete last November and haven’t looked back.

I started with the gymnastics bias track and by February, was able to complete a workout on the plan linking toes to bar consistently for the first time.

I have also noticed huge improvements in my squat strength, hitting pb’s with both front and back squats, as well as upper body exercises.

I recently switched to the hyrox track because I had a pro women’s double Hyrox race coming up. The plan gave me everything I needed for race day, heavy front squats, running intervals and sled work to name a few, so I felt prepared on the day, and we achieved a sub 1hr 20 finish.

I love the fact I can switch the track to suit my training requirements and as an older athlete, the masters track is a great additional option, as well as the 60 minute one if my time is limited.

I also get advice from GFC direct via the app from videos I upload and/or my updates from completed sessions, which are really useful and very motivating. Thank you GFC! Looking forward to whatever comes next!

If you’re looking for something to get stronger, fitter and have access to learn new skills, the athlete programme as all you need.
