My why and passion for mummys lose routine and understanding how to manage with my baby brain?
Why is BabyBeats more than just a class… especially with our free walks and wellbeing community?
So many mums worry something is wrong with them after having a baby.
You forget appointments.
Walk into a room and forget why you went in.
Feel more emotional than ever before.
People laugh about “baby brain” — but research highlighted by the BBC and published in Nature Neuroscience has actually shown that the maternal brain adapts during pregnancy to support bonding, emotional connection and caregiving.
Scientists found the brain reorganises itself during pregnancy, helping mums become more tuned into their baby’s needs and emotions. So if you’re feeling different, overwhelmed or more sensitive lately, it doesn’t mean you’re failing — it often means your brain and body are adapting to one of the biggest changes in life
At the same time, mums are navigating exhaustion, recovery, hormones, identity changes and the pressure to “bounce back,” so it’s no surprise many lose confidence in themselves at times.
That’s why BabyBeats is about so much more than movement classes.
It’s about connection.
Fresh air.
Gentle movement.
A safe space to talk.
And knowing you’re not alone.
Whether it’s during class or on one of our free wellbeing walks, sometimes just being around other mums who understand can make such a difference.
We look forward to meeting you and your little one soon, to share a smilex, enjoy a treat cake and celebrate the small wins on your recovery.
