Know your skin: Be smart about skin cancer!

We want to encourage everyone to be sun-safe and to find out more about sunscreens and skin safety, particularly ahead of the warm weather next week!

May is Melanoma Awareness month, so we are encouraging anyone who has noticed changes in their moles or lesions to contact their GP. Many of these moles or lesions don't end up being anything serious, but it is always important to get things checked.

Please Collect Your Prescriptions Promptly

Holmwood Pharmacy (next to Holmwood Surgery) has asked us to remind patients to check for and collect any uncollected prescriptions.

The pharmacy is currently experiencing significant storage pressure due to a high number of uncollected medications. To manage this safely, prescriptions will be held for up to 3 months, after which any uncollected items will be returned to stock where appropriate.

If you believe you have medication awaiting collection, please collect it as soon as possible or let the pharmacy know if it is no longer required so it can be returned to stock sooner.
