Why I created EASICalm Pro 💜
EASICalm Pro came about because of my own horses and the different challenges I’ve experienced with them over the years.
As a small Thoroughbred breeder, I understand how stressful changes in routine can be. We support foals through weaning and prepare them for the sales and auction ring. We also prepare yearlings before they leave us to begin their new racing careers.
Alongside this, we retrain Thoroughbreds as they adjust to life after racing and, of course, produce and compete our own competition horses. Every horse is different, but they all experience times when they may need a little extra support.
Like many owners, I initially reached for magnesium calmers when one of my horses became tense or unsettled. Unfortunately, magnesium-only and high-magnesium products had completely the opposite effect on my horses—they became even more unsettled and, quite honestly, wild!
Magnesium can be helpful when a horse is deficient, but I realised that not every tense horse simply needs more magnesium. I wanted to create something that took a different approach and focused on supporting the nervous system.
That’s why I developed EASICalm Pro, using:
🌿 L-tryptophan
🌿 Chamomile flowers
🌿 B vitamins
🌿 2,000 mg of vitamin E per daily horse serving
🌿 Fenugreek to support digestion
It’s designed to help horses feel more settled and able to cope without making them dull or taking away their personality. We recommend allowing around three days to begin seeing a difference.
A 1.5 kg bag provides a 30-day supply for a 500 kg horse, costing approximately £1.17 per day.
For occasions when faster support is needed—such as weaning, travelling, sales preparation, competitions, clipping, box rest or a change of home—we also created our EASICalm XTRA syringe.
This range wasn’t created simply to add another calmer to the market. It was developed through my own experiences as a breeder, owner and rider because I needed something different for my horses—and I knew other owners would too. 💚
