It’s my favourite foraging time of the year. The land is covered in beautiful berries. Respectfully foraged for many uses personally and in my sessions. Blackberries for natural dye, rosehip for syrup and to dry for wreaths, hawthorn for ketchup and all three with sloe to make hedgerow jam. Elderberries not featured are perfect for a vitamin c boost syrup and for experimenting with natural dyes too. As always I only forage when I 100% know their identity and always only take a little from each plant leaving the rest for Mother Nature to nurture.

I spent a lovely couple of hours creating a pine cone Fox in readiness for my upcoming Pine Cone Art Workshop (25 Sept). One of my most favourite woodland animals - majestic and mysterious.
