🌞 Birthdays look a lil different with a little one in tow!
What a year it has been 😮 . Mostly, spent navigating the wild changes, challenges and joys that come with pregnancy and Motherhood…a time so full of paradox yet so so full of love 💛
And so, to mark the occasion of another year round the sun, I’m doing what I always do at this time of year and offering up THREE FREE 20min mentoring sessions. Buttttt, this time with a focus on breath & I’m looking specifically for three mothers (or mothers to be) in need of a little support.
This last year, my breath practice has been like a little locket I’ve carried round with me. Heart-shaped and holding the key to creating a space that feels safe for myself and my little love.
From womb to earth side, Elodie has been experiencing me shifting my state from flustered, anxious, frustrated, scared, overwhelmed to calm, steady, ready, capable and so so strong. She’s witnessed me doing this through intentional manipulation of my breathing (amongst other tools but breath being a first point of call).
I’ve used it at midnight, one am, two am, three am to help regulate my HR and hers. To help rest and return to sleep after the night feeds. To prepare for first work events post-maternity. Before, during and after her birth. When I carefully place her in her cot. As I wake in the morning so that I can pick her up from a regulated, mindful and heartful place. Before I speak my truth and communicate my needs to those around me. To keep calm while driving her around (iykyk). And everything in between.
