Something I don’t often share, but this day has always carried a quiet weight for me since losing my own Dad almost 12 years ago.

In the early years, I couldn’t face social media on days like this. It was too painful seeing celebrations while I was sitting with grief. Over time, I’ve learned to hold both—gratitude for the love we had, and accept that he’s now at peace.

Today, my heart is also with those who are experiencing their first Father’s Day without their Dad, husband, or father figure. Especially a young daughter grieving such a recent loss… I see you, and I’m holding you in my thoughts.

Grief doesn’t follow a timeline. It looks different for everyone, at every age. But love doesn’t leave us—it just changes form.
