Summer Memories 😎

August has been full of fun and adventures. Cedar Lawn residents set sail for the final boat trip of the year yesterday onboard the Solent Dolphin Alison MacGregor.

We also headed out to the SeaCity Museum which was a real highlight for the residents, learning more about the history.

World photography day was celebrated with staff and residents getting dressed up, and capturing some fun photos!

And for a bit of nostalgia, we spent time reminiscing about favourite childhood sweets - followed by a tasting session from our old‑fashioned sweet trolley. A perfect way to round off the month!

Boat Trips ⚓

We were lucky to secure a number of trips on the Solent Dolphin Alison MacGregor boat over the summer, and still have one more adventure planned!

A huge thank you to the crew for making everyone feel so welcome. The residents said they were "treated like royalty!"

It is wonderful to find an outing that is accessible for our residents, allowing them to have fun and enjoy the fresh air, whilst on the water. They all enjoyed seeing Southampton from a new perspective.

Summer Fayre Success!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Summer Fayre on Friday — the staff, residents and their families, volunteers, local businesses, and neighbours. Your efforts were truly appreciated and the event would not have been possible without the incredible teamwork shown. It was wonderful to see the residents smiling!

We were delighted to welcome Madam Mayor, Councillor Linda Lashbrook, and Consort, Councillor Philip Lashbrook as our special guests. Residents thoroughly enjoyed their company.

Age Concern Romsey was chosen as our nominated charity this year, and we are pleased to make a donation towards the wonderful work they do in our local community.
