With a week to go before my work life biggest night, England Business Awards NW Regional Final, and for those who haven’t seen the information video, I’m hoping this is the golden key to open up a more secure future. Thank you for your votes (I’ve not seen any comments), and continued support. John

For those new to the tables, here is a brief explanation.

While I have had invaluable support from everyone, massive thanks goes the Dockerty family, Tracy, Lucas (for the video)and Marc, who between them, (and without payment ☺️) have been promoting practically everything I’ve done. I didn’t start the company up for pats on the back, but to help the community with their recovery following hospitalisation. This nomination for an award is for everyone, who helped me and for those that we have helped.

In line with my current menopausal programmes, one of my clients has lost 2 inches, (weight has fluctuated given the imbalance in her oestrogen levels), but feels much better, and stronger, in herself, after 4 weeks.
Each person is different, so results will differ, but shows what can happen, once focused. 👍👊

Question: what does a male know about the affectsa d sensations the menopause has on females?
Answer: about as much as a male midwife knows about having a baby!!!

As a personal trainer, I work with those that,
ordinarily, are unable to attend other facilities, as a result, I’ve come across a lot of conditions.
Recently, I’ve been advising on exercise following and during, menopause.
As a male, I wouldn’t have a clue about how it affects ladies on a personal level, other than what I’ve read and had conversations about. But exercise for HEALTH, is no different for any other condition, it’s how we adapt it for individuals, and as long as people understand the benefits of doing something rather than nothing.
I’ve been asked if I would consider setting up exercise sessions for those that are perimenopause, so they can cope better further down the line.
So I’m putting it out there, and see what interest there is. I’m putting together an information sheet on the benefits of exercise, for those menopausal.
I have a small, non public gym, as well as toning tables. All information will be confidential.
Contact me with your thoughts.

Met a client from the past, earlier. Came to me over 18 months ago, recovering from treatment for bone cancer. He struggled to walk when he first arrived. Over 12 months later, following toning table and personal training sessions, he is much stronger, healthier and fitter. So much so he’s back playing the activity he had to give up, albeit lower level, that he had a long time off from playing.
Teamwork (again), makes the dream work.
I’m so pleased for him 👊

As a health and well-being related business, I’ve helped people with a variety of conditions.
What has been lacking, are those with a sight impairment.
If anyone knows of anyone with such a condition, that needs assistance with their health and fitness, I can be their ‘gym buddy’, or they can attend my private studio.
Contact me to arrange an informal chat.

In the light of the announcement that the Princess of Wales is dealing with cancer, I find it admirable that she made it public. If just one person gets themselves checked out, then it could be one life saved.
Statically, RUNCORN (not Halton) has the highest percentage of people who do not attend appointments for checkups, compared to the rest of the country. Potentially 2/3 of people who do not attend check up appointments are walking round with a condition (not just cancer) that could be treated, if caught early. Those same people are the first to complain about the service of the NHS..as broken as it is!!
