A gorgeous, natural-looking refresh for my lovely patient ahead of her wedding day. 🤍💍

For this treatment I used STYLAGE® XL to perform an 8-point facelift, strategically restoring support and creating subtle lift and balance across the face.

We then finished with 0.5ml lip enhancement to gently define and hydrate the lips while keeping them beautifully natural.

The aim was never to change her features, simply to create a fresher, softer and more rested appearance ready for her special day. ✨

✨ CASE STUDY | RESTORING FACIAL BALANCE AFTER TRAUMA.

This case is a lovely example of why aesthetic medicine is about far more than simply adding volume.

My patient sustained a facial injury in 2017, resulting in scarring to the lower lip and jaw. Despite surgery and treatment at the time, residual scar tissue created a pull on the surrounding tissues, contributing to facial asymmetry over the years.

Following a comprehensive assessment, I developed an individualised treatment plan.

The aim wasn’t to change her appearance. It was to understand the underlying anatomy, work with the effects of the scar tissue and gently restore balance, symmetry and confidence, while preserving her natural features.

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Independent Nurse Prescriber and Level 7 qualified in Aesthetic Medicine, with 19 years of nursing experience and 10 years in aesthetics. My background in mental health nursing is central to my approach, ensuring I consider not only physical presentation but also the emotional and psychological impact of facial concerns.

For this patient, the most meaningful outcome was not just improved symmetry, but the positive impact on her confidence and self-perception.
