Since completing my 100 swims challenge , I had lost my Mojo...a few personal things going on ..and the feeling I had nothing more to challenge me .But today the dogs and I went to Porthcothan in the strong winds and mizzle ,and I swam in a pool there and rediscovered my joy...
Swimming, especially in cold water , releases endorphins in your brain. These hormones make you feel good and help to increase positivity and bring about a sense of wellbeing and happiness research also suggests swimming helps reduce stress!!!
So things to look forward to for 2024
as well as offering coaching sessions to help you gain confidence into the water will be running a regular group for antenatal and post natal.mums
As an ex midwife and a qualified Aquanatal instructor sessions will help you stay healthy, fit and well during pregnancy, Swimming while pregnant is considered safe and is a great form of low -impact aerobic exercise if there are no contraindications
