A great day speaking at the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN) with the fabulous Mani Toni | MSc | BNurs!

I had the pleasure of presenting on commonly occurring skin lesions in medical aesthetic practice and referral pathways in private practice.

As aesthetic practitioners, we are often in a unique position to identify skin lesions that patients themselves may not have noticed. Having the knowledge to recognise what we are looking at, understanding when not to treat, and knowing how and where to refer appropriately are such important parts of safe clinical practice.

It was great to share some of my dermatology experience and discuss how we can bridge the gap between medical aesthetics and dermatology, particularly within private practice.
