With less than three weeks to go until the launch of FarmersAid at the Royal Cornwall Show on 4 June, support from across the farming sector will play a vital role in helping the initiative reach as many farming people as possible.
The modelling behind FarmersAid suggests that around 10,000 active users - roughly 2% of the UK farming workforce - could be enough for the initiative to begin helping save lives during serious on-farm emergencies. At higher levels of adoption, the potential impact of FarmersAid increases further.
Alongside that long-term potential, FarmersAid is designed to help farming people better understand how to respond in the event of a serious on-farm accident - helping people think fast, act right and feel more prepared, even if they never need to use it in a real-life situation.
As RABI Chief Executive Alicia Chivers said when we introduced FarmersAid at the Oxford Farming Conference 2026, “FarmersAid has the potential to make a real difference, but it will only achieve national reach if the sector gets behind it collectively. By working together to build awareness and encourage downloads, we can help get FarmersAid into more farming communities across the UK - and that could save lives.”
A huge thank you to the organisations, partners and individuals already helping build momentum behind FarmersAid, including NFU Mutual, NFU - National Farmers' Union, National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs, Harper Adams University, Farm Safety Foundation - Yellow Wellies, Farmers Guardian, Coate PR, The CLA, Royal Cornwall Show, and AIC - Agricultural Industries Confederation
Please help share FarmersAid across your networks, encourage downloads when the app launches on 4 June and register interest ahead of launch at: https://farmersaid.org.uk/
