Ever wondered what actually happens at a women’s circle?
It’s not as mysterious as it sounds.
It’s a space where women come together to slow down, breathe and be themselves. They can leave all their different hats and roles at the door. No pressure, no fixing- just honest connection.
It typically starts with a welcome and some kind of grounding exercise- this might be a short meditation, breathing, or simply a moment to settle in. The idea is to shift out of everyday busyness and into the present moment.
There’s a chance to share what’s on your mind (or just listen). Others listen without giving advice unless it’s specifically invited. That listening aspect is a big deal; it’s meant to create a sense of being heard rather than “fixed.”
There will also be a theme or activity. For example:
* Gentle prompts for reflection or journaling
* Guided visualisations or meditations
* Creative exercises like drawing, writing or creating
There are candles and soft music. Sometimes there’s laughter, sometimes there are tears. All of it is welcome.
Overall, the point isn’t therapy or problem-solving. It’s more about connection, emotional expression, and having a space where you can show up honestly without judgment. Connections with other women without the complexities and expectations which often come with other friendships.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in trying, message me for more information and I’ll be happy to talk to you about what joining a circle entails.
