Urgh, food noise.
Can I eat this?
But I already had...
Is it too early/late/much/little?
Is it fattening?
Is it too processed?
What about the sugar?
Am I really hungry?
What if someone makes a comment?
I'll just have a taste
What should I order?
Can I have dessert?
Are bananas really ok?*
If you're familiar with the incessant drone of food noise, this might strike a chord.
It's the endless over-thinking, second-guessing and self-doubt that takes up far too much brain space, when we've all got much better things to think about.
It takes practice to turn the volume down, but it can be done.
