I don’t usually share much about my own health journey, but I know there are others living with autoimmune conditions who may recognise this feeling…
Some weeks, fatigue can be overwhelming. 🥱 Even the simplest everyday tasks can feel like a huge effort, and exercise can be the last thing on your mind.
And that’s OK. ❤️
Sometimes the most important thing you can do is listen to your body, slow down and rest without feeling guilty. Rest isn’t giving up, it’s part of looking after yourself.
But I’ve also found, personally, that when I’m having a better week, getting moving can make such a difference. 🏃♀️ Whether it’s a class, a walk or simply getting out and about, exercise often leaves me feeling more energised, positive and less fatigued.
It’s about finding that balance, knowing when to push yourself gently and knowing when your body needs you to pause.😌
Having an autoimmune condition may be part of my journey, but it doesn’t define who I am or what I’m capable of. 💪✨
So if you’re having one of those difficult weeks, be kind to yourself. Rest when you need to, move when you can, and remember that a bad week doesn’t mean you’re going backwards.
We adapt. We listen. We keep going
