All boys today, raring to go 👌Great to see them all helping each other, passing on their knowledge and skills and thoroughly enjoying the session 👌
Their patience paid off as we found fish (rather fast ones) and a shore crab that was shedding its shell and the all time favourite the velvet swimming crab 🦀 It was lovely to hear Isaac comment on how he loved the black velvety hairs on its legs ....Great observation 🤔

We played "Finders Keepers" scavenger team game then a timed rock tower challenge 😏 Very focused and eager to impress 👏 Laura was the judge and adjudicator 🤣😂

So sensible around the campfire toasting our marshmallows - and lovely way to end the session 🔥🍡🍪

Well that's a wrap.....what a wonderful summer of beach schools. Huge thanks goes out to my wonderful friends who are my volunteers - I couldn't do it without you all 🫶😉 Bev Wilenius Jackie Ullah Laura Jane Linda Garnett and Gemma Thomas ❤️

Also to ARC Adoption North East, Team Fostering North East, Kayaks and Hub 5 for again booking dates across our beautiful North East Coastal region - meeting some wonderful families along the way was delightful 🙏

And not forgetting all the children that have attended our summer beach schools - its been a pleasure meeting you all. We hope we see you again at October half term 🪸🐚🦀🔥 Remember, enjoy school, pass on your knowledge and skills - its good to share 🫶😉

What a fab session today - a bit cloudy but warm, just perfect for exploring the rock pools 🦀🐚🪸
Roscoe stumbled upon a huge shore crab which actually turned out to be a "mating couple" so we left them to it....a good find though for his first beach school 👍
We had a "very" competitive game of fill the bucket 🪣 🙄 before having some "me" time.

Seaglass searching is always a favourite - but Ez was desperate to find a nurdle but happy to say we didn't find any 🤷‍♀️ at least she had good intentions 😉
Finishing with a perfect campfire 🔥(no wind today) 👌

What an amazing morning at Cresswell with ARC Adoption North East families. Look at our finds 😍 Great to find part of a sea urchin shell and a small shrimp 🦐 👌
We played some team games and finished with some tasty smores 😋
Thanks for a lovely morning, I always look forward to delivering these sessions 🫶
