Many of us start the year with intentions or set goals and now find themselves half way through the year, feeling as though they’re in the same place. I’m not saying this to make anyone feel judged or rubbish about themselves. I’m saying this because sometimes we can’t see what’s holding us back and getting in the way of moving forward. We’re not always aware of our beliefs, and small habits and behaviours that block growth. However, as a life coach with over 10 years experience, I can help you become aware and guide you into shifting these. This is where the magic happens ✨ and the life you desire happens. ✨ I am back from holiday on Friday. If you want to work with me this June, DM me. I have limited space as always, so let one of those spaces be yours. ✨

I’m lying by the pool, scrolling, when I come across a post about doing an energy cleanse before the new month begins. And I thought, it’s exactly what I need.

Next month marks two years since my mum was diagnosed with cancer. Looking back, I can see that was the moment everything changed. Somewhere between June 2024 and now, I lost myself for a while.

I’ve emotionally eaten. I’ve survived. I’ve carried grief, stress, worry, and exhaustion. And if I’m honest, it’s taken nearly two years for my nervous system to start finding its balance again.

But as June begins, I feel ready.

Ready to let go of what’s been weighing me down, ready to stop living in survival mode and ready to come home to myself.

One suggestion was to write a release letter.

Write down everything you want to leave behind:

✨ Self-doubt
✨ Fear
✨ Guilt
✨ Emotional eating
✨ Old stories
✨ Habits that no longer serve you
✨ Anything keeping you stuck

Then end with:

“Thank you for the lessons. I release you now.”

Tear it up, burn it safely, or throw it away.

Then make a commitment to yourself.

Mine is this:

“For the next 30 days, I choose myself.

I choose movement over stagnation.
I choose nourishment over self-sabotage.
I choose progress over perfection.
I choose to trust that the woman I am becoming is worth showing up for every day.”

This June isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about coming home to the woman I’ve always been beneath the grief, stress, and survival.

What are you committing to this month? 💛

I can feel myself winding down already…I am so ready for a holiday. ☀️

Before I switch off for a week though, I wanted to share something I’m really excited about bringing in this summer…

✨ Walk & Talk Coaching ✨
Right here in Southampton.

One hour of coaching while we walk through beautiful green spaces, tree-lined paths and fresh air. No pressure. Just movement, nature and conversation.

Walking and talking has been shown to help:
🌿 reduce stress and anxiety
🌿 improve focus and creativity
🌿 regulate emotions
🌿 boost mood and energy
🌿 help people open up more naturally
🌿 shift perspective when feeling stuck

Sometimes a change in environment can create a change internally too.

These sessions are perfect if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or simply need space to think clearly and move forward.

I’ll be opening my diary when I’m back from holiday and sessions will be available on selected days in Southampton only. We can do before work, after work or even a cheeky lunchtime walk ☕️🌳

If this sounds like something you’d love, feel free to DM me while I’m away and I’ll get back to you when I return 🧡

There comes a point where you realise healing isn’t about becoming someone new…
It’s about coming back to yourself. ✨

Learning to put boundaries where there used to be guilt.
Choosing peace over chaos.
Rest over burnout.
Self-respect over people-pleasing.

I’ve spent time rebuilding myself quietly. Healing, growing, taking back control of my life and becoming the hero of my own story.

It hasn’t been perfect, I’m doing it in stages, but it’s been intentionally.

If you’re feeling lost, stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself… please know this:
you can do it too. 🤍 let me guide you.

With the right support, guidance and accountability, change is possible.
Through coaching, I help people reconnect with themselves, build confidence, create healthier boundaries and step into the life they truly want.

Your story isn’t over.
This could be the chapter where everything begins again. ✨

After a hectic few weeks, I truly needed a weekend like this.

Yesterday was my anniversary and we enjoyed a sauna and dip by the sea followed by a cosy rainy afternoon on the sofa. This morning I went for a walk and did park yoga. It was a packed mat session with 250 people surrounded by trees.

I haven’t felt this zen and light in ages and I feel amazing.

What self-care activities did you do this weekend that you really needed? 🧡

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week, and this year’s theme is all about taking action.

And I’ve been thinking about that a lot.

Because when we hear the word action, I think we can sometimes assume it has to mean doing something huge. Making a big decision. Changing everything. Suddenly having a plan and feeling completely motivated.

But in real life, action is often much smaller than that.

Sometimes action is admitting you feel stuck.

Sometimes it’s saying out loud, “I don’t actually know what I want anymore.”

Sometimes it’s realising that the way you’ve been doing things, or the beliefs you’ve been carrying, just don’t fit who you are now.

And sometimes, action is deciding you don’t want to keep trying to figure it all out on your own.

That’s where coaching can really help.

Working with me gives you space to slow everything down a little. To sort through the thoughts that feel tangled. To notice the patterns and beliefs that might be keeping you stuck, especially the ones that are outdated, inherited, or not even really yours in the first place.

It’s not about me telling you what to do. It’s about helping you come back to yourself.

Back into balance.
Back to what matters.
Back to where your energy needs to go next.

We can look at what is feeling heavy, what is pulling you off track, and what small tools might help you feel more emotionally steady when life feels a lot.

And then we make a plan.

Not necessarily a massive life-changing plan with huge goals that feel overwhelming.

Often, it’s much smaller than that like one honest conversation, one boundary, one decision or even a pause.
All of which can be one tiny step in the right direction.

Because small actions build up.

And sometimes the first action is simply saying, “I don’t want to keep doing this on my own.”

You don’t have to. DM if this resonates and let’s chat. No pressure. Just a chat. 💬

Mental Health Awareness Week 🌊

We invest in our physical health…
the walks, the workouts, the nutrition, the routines.

But your mind is the foundation everything else is built on.

How you think.
How you cope.
How you rest.
How you love.
How you lead.
How you keep going when life feels heavy.

Your mental health deserves the same care, attention and investment as your physical health.

Because when your mind is cared for, everything else feels possible. ✨
