There’s something about September that always feels like the start of something new 🍂✨

I finished last week with a Goal Mapping session, and I loved hearing that I’m definitely not the only one who feels like September brings that fresh-start feeling.

Maybe it’s the back-to-school energy. Maybe it’s the change in seasons. Or maybe after the summer, we’re just ready to get back into a bit of routine and start thinking about what we actually want for the rest of the year.

And I am SO ready for it.

👉🏽 I’ve got space for new 1:1 coaching clients this September, so if you’ve been feeling stuck, going round in circles, or you know there’s something you want to change but you’re not quite getting there on your own, come and have a chat with me.

👉🏽 This week I’m also getting my final numbers together for my Autumn coach training 🍂

I’ve got some space in my diary this week if you’ve been thinking about the training and want to chat it through with me, ask questions, or find out whether it feels right for you. No pressure, just message me.

I’m feeling ridiculously excited about September and everything coming this Autumn.

New season. New energy. Lots happening. And I am VERY here for it 😂🍂✨

What I wish I’d had when I first started coaching…

A method.

Not another random worksheet or another list of questions.

Not another model to add to the pile.

A proper structure that helped me know where I was going with a client.

Because when I first started coaching, I had tools. I had training. I knew how to ask questions.

But what I didn’t always have was something that brought it all together.

Over the years, through working privately, in mental health, in workshops and in organisations, I started to see the same patterns again and again.

People need space to Review what’s really happening.

They need help to Reframe the beliefs, stories and patterns keeping them stuck.

And then they need support to Redesign what comes next.

That’s how the Review. Reframe. Redesign. Method™️ was built.

And now I’m teaching it this autumn to coaches, trainers, facilitators and therapists who want more structure behind the work they already do.

If you’d like the details, comment INTERESTED and I’ll send them over.

No pressure. Just have a look and see if it feels like the right fit for you.

✨Want to work with me this September?

I’ve got some space opening up for 1:1 coaching this September.

If you’ve been feeling a bit stuck, overwhelmed, fed up with going round in circles or you just know something needs to change, this might be your sign to do something about it.

Coaching with me is practical, supportive and very much about helping you understand what’s going on, what needs to shift and what small actions will actually move you forward.

No fluff. No pretending everything is fine. Just real conversations, useful tools and space to work out what you actually want next.

If you’ve been thinking about coaching and want to have a chat first, send me a DM and we can talk it through.

September feels like a really good month for a reset. x

Part of the reason I retrained as a life coach was because I was sick of working 9 to 5.

I wanted something more flexible so I could pick and choose when I worked.

Life Coaching does this for me.

🍁This autumn I’m training a small group in the Review. Reframe. Redesign. Method™. The method I’ve developed from years of coaching, working in mental health, corporate environments and delivering workshops.

This isn’t about sitting through hours of theory.

It’s practical, usable training that you can take into your own coaching, facilitation or therapeutic work.

And because I want this first group to stay small enough for proper support, there are just 8 spaces available and 2 of those spaces have been snapped up.

Training starts in October, with a mix of live sessions with me and flexible self-paced pre-recorded learning.

If you’d like to find out more, comment INTERESTED and I’ll send you the recent masterclass replay and all the details

“The early bird catches the worm…”

Instagram vs reality.

Instagram: Up and out early, getting my steps in before the day starts. Sitting outside The Cowherds with my very Instagrammable oat milk iced coffee. What a way to start a Monday! ☀️

Reality: I snoozed my alarm several times and had my husband rushing me out of the door.

“You haven’t left yourself enough time.”

“The early bird catches the worm,” I replied. 🤣

“I’m normally on my third shift by now. This isn’t early.” 😂

He then spent the drive watering down my bonfires (that’s the polite term) before laughing when I asked him to film me walking.

“If only they knew your struggles,” he said.

“I’m going to tell them.”

Because this is real life.

I’m Corina: an experienced life coach, 48 (just!), perimenopausal, diagnosed with ADHD and married to a fitness trainer.

I often think that if I can’t do something perfectly, there’s no point doing it at all. But this morning, even though I was later than planned, I still got my kit on and left the house. Hair scraped back, face unwashed and a shorter walk than I wanted. But it still counts.

If you haven’t got the energy to do the whole thing, do part of the thing. Something is always better than nothing.

I’m now sitting outside with my iced coffee, listening to the birds…and a sh*tload of traffic noise. 😂

Not perfect. But still a great start to the day.

The annoying part of ADHD
This was me earlier.
I just couldn’t get started. I procrastinated. I got changed twice.
I stripped the bed and put washing on.
I walked from room to room saying I need to get started, I’ve got so much to do.
I made a list. Which overwhelmed me even more.
Then I thought about pulling everything out of the room to tidy it. Then quickly talked myself out of that time wasting project.
Then I thought perhaps I need a new desk. Scrolled marketplace for a bit, then told myself I don’t need a new desk.
Then I moved my laptop downstairs to my stand up desk in the front room.
I put my trainers on and walked round the block (which is when I made this video). Just a 10 mins walk.

It worked. It rebooted my laptop like brain! 🧠
Then I asked AI (sorry if you’re not a fan but this is where I find it helpful), to breakdown what I needed to do into manageable tasks.
It set it out in 20mins chunks.
And my brain was able to focus again.
I’ve put more washing out and I’ve kept my trainers on because I need to move about today to keep everything firing.
The urge was strong to sack it off but I found a way around it.

Can anyone relate and have any other ways they work with?

Ps. I got distracted writing this and burnt the bacon for my omelette ffs 🙄🤣

Are you always the one who sorts everything out?

I’ve been working with a team this week, talking about personalities and the patterns we can fall into at work.

One of the models we explored was the Drama Triangle.

Despite the name, it isn’t necessarily about being dramatic! It describes three roles we can move between:

The Victim: “I can’t do this.”

The Rescuer: “Don’t worry, I’ll sort it.”

The Persecutor: “Why am I always left to do everything?”

You might step into the Rescuer role because you’re capable, helpful and genuinely care. Everyone knows they can come to you, so they do.

But constantly taking responsibility for other people can leave you feeling overwhelmed, frustrated and resentful.

It can also stop them from taking ownership and building confidence in themselves.

Supporting someone doesn’t always mean fixing things for them. Sometimes it means asking:

“What have you tried so far?”

“What do you think the next step could be?”

“What do you need from me?”

This moves us from Rescuer to Coach, helping someone find their own way forward without taking over.

This is exactly the sort of practical model we’ll explore in my coaching training this autumn. It could support you in your current workplace, help you establish your own coaching business or create another stream of income.

I currently have six places remaining.

Or, if you recognise yourself as the person carrying everything, I also have space for a new 1:1 coaching client.

DM me if you’d like to know more about either. No pressure, just a chat.

Sometimes the answer isn’t becoming better at coping with everything.

It’s recognising that you don’t have to carry it all.

I’ve just come back from two days camping and being completely off grid… and it was glorious. ⛺️☀️

No reception. No scrolling. No constantly checking emails or messages.

I only took this one photo, which probably says everything. I genuinely got to the point where I didn’t even know where my phone was and I loved it.

I was just there. Present. Talking, laughing, eating, sleeping, sitting outside and not thinking about what I “should” be doing next.

I’ve come home feeling properly reset and recharged.

It’s reminded me how much we sometimes need to disconnect from all the noise to reconnect with ourselves. And apparently, for me, that sometimes involves a tent and absolutely no phone signal 😂

If you’re feeling like you could do with a bit of a reset yourself, I currently have space for one new 1:1 coaching client. Drop me a message if you’d like to chat about working together.

And if you’re a coach, trainer, facilitator or therapist who has been thinking about joining me for my Review. Reframe. Redesign. Method™️ training this Autumn, I still have a few spaces available for the first cohort.

You’ll learn the method I use within my own coaching, along with the tools, exercises and structure to take it into your own work with clients and groups.

If you’ve been thinking about either, just send me a DM. No pressure, we can have a chat and see if it feels right.
