18 years of Home Instead.
Today marks 18 years since Home Instead became part of our lives.
What started as a journey into the unknown has grown into something We’re incredibly proud to be part of. Looking back, it’s hard to believe just how far we’ve come.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting more than 2,800 people, and today we’re providing care to over 270 clients — always with the same simple principle at the heart of what we do: providing the standard of care that we would want for our own families.
We now have around 250 Care Professionals, supported by an amazing office team across our four offices in East Anglia. What makes me particularly proud is seeing how deeply our ethos has become embedded in everything they do.
For us, the most rewarding part of this journey is knowing that, every single day, we genuinely make a difference to people’s lives.
And it’s not just the clients and families we hear from. Our Care Professionals regularly tell us that this is the most rewarding job they’ve ever had — and that, having found Home Instead, they can’t imagine doing anything else. That means a huge amount to me.
This past year also gave us a milestone that We’re especially proud of. Our North Norfolk office received an Outstanding rating in all five areas from the CQC, putting us among fewer than 30 providers nationally out of around 16,000 to achieve this.
It was something we had talked about and aspired to for a long time. Achieving it was a brilliant reminder that, with the right mindset, the right people and a shared commitment to doing things properly, you really can continue to take a business to new heights.
But ultimately, 18 years isn’t about numbers or awards. It’s about people.
It’s about the clients and families who have trusted us, the Care Professionals who make a difference every day, and the incredible team who have helped build Home Instead into what it is today.
