It’s all about the process (and the processing). Meaning works on many levels; implicit, explicit, the personal and collective conscious. The most simple art making such as arranging pebbles on the beach can still offer reflection and meaning.

Excited to be offering an Earth Medicine Art Therapy session to the wondeful women at Wild Woman Refuge 💗. Having experienced this held and connected gathering of heart led women in a beautiful setting by a lake last year, I knew it would be such an amazing space for this!

Earth Medicine Art Therapy stall at Peterborough SEND event. I realised talking to people that my offering is fairly diverse and also very niche. I offer 1:1 and small group art therapy sessions to organisations (such as schools and alternative provisions) but my clinical expertise covers: perinatal, women in prison, children & young people and well-being for staff and the general population. Most of the people I have worked with are neurodivergent and present with complex trauma. I can offer traditional art therapy in a room but encourage outdoor ways of working using natural materials.

Today I had the wonderful opportunity to be a participant in ‘A circle of trees’ an Environmental Art Therapy event held beautifully by Mary, Richard and the wonderful woodland at Heartwood CIC in Derbyshire. 💗 April is the month of the Hawthorn and of new hatchlings 🥚

Connecting and connected to clay conference last week was wonderful. The Cambridge university building Maddingly Hall offered beautiful spaces both inside and outside. Clay offers a different perspective, both aesthetically and kinaesthetic.
