SAVE this recipe before mango season disappears ☀️🥭
I kept seeing mango matcha everywhere and was tempted to try it.
Which often contains sweetened fruit mixtures, flavoured syrups or ingredients that aren’t always freshly prepared.
So I made my own version using just:
🥭 Fresh seasonal mango
🥥 Coconut milk /oat milk
🍵 Organic ceremonial matcha
And it was absolutely delicious.
From an Ayurvedic perspective, seasonal foods are often the foods our body benefits from most.
Mango is considered one of the most nourishing summer fruits when eaten ripe and in moderation. It naturally provides sweetness, satisfaction and valuable nutrients.
Why I love mango:
• Rich in antioxidants
• Contains vitamins A and C
• Naturally sweet and satisfying
• Supports hydration during warmer months
The addition of coconut milk gives a creamy texture while bringing cooling qualities that are especially appreciated during summer.
Matcha offers a gentle source of caffeine along with antioxidants and L-theanine, which can help provide a calmer and more sustained energy compared to coffee.
A few Ayurvedic tips:
• Use fully ripe mangoes
• Enjoy during the daytime when digestion is strongest
• Avoid drinking it ice cold
• Sip mindfully rather than rushing through it
As an Ayurvedic practitioner, I’m always looking for ways to combine seasonal ingredients with simple everyday wellness habits.
Would you pay for a mango matcha, or make it yourself at home?
