📚 Did you know Airedale has its own Library & Knowledge Service?
This hidden gem supports colleagues across the Trust by providing access to books, journals, research evidence and learning resources that help staff deliver the very best patient care.
This week, we're shining a light on Martyn Greenwood, Assistant Librarian, who plays a key role in helping colleagues access knowledge and information. From carrying out literature searches and supporting training, to helping staff navigate systems and resources, Martyn's work helps colleagues stay informed, continue learning and make evidence-based decisions.
The service offers much more than medical textbooks too. Through a shared Yorkshire and Humber NHS library catalogue, Airedale colleagues can access a huge range of resources, including leadership, management, psychology and wellbeing books, as well as fiction for leisure reading.
Outside of work, Martyn is a keen reader and creative writer, with several published stories to his name and a novel currently in the works.
