Another beautiful day out there 😏😏

Why not come and escape the rain and join our Ladies Group this afternoon.

The group meets at 1.30pm onwards and this is open to female patients, past and present and those supporting someone through a cancer journey.

You will be met with a friendly bunch, lots of chat, coffee and I believe Sophie has made some delicious cake for us to enjoy today!

Our monthly young person's group meets tomorrow at 4pm, this group is designed for patients past and present who have been diagnosed with cancer under the age of 55 years old.

💜💜💜 RELAY FOR LIFE 💜💜💜

Stranraer Cancer Drop In Centre are taking a team down to Bladnoch Park on Saturday 4th July to participate in Cancer Research, Relay for Life.

This is a 12 hour walk round the park but you are able to come and join in for as much or as little as you wish.

We are taking a team made up of patients, carers, family members and health professionals to show that a cancer diagnosis affects everyone.

If you would like to join our team then please get in touch.

We are holding an open afternoon at the centre, tomorrow between 1pm and 4pm where team members can come and ask questions and also try on sample t shirts so Aileen can get them ordered for the day.

Huge thanks to Celeste and Morag who recently held a charity night and raised a phenomenal amount of money for Stranraer Cancer Drop In Centre.

Within the prizes was a signed Scotland rugby ball which Wigtownshire Rugby Football Club kindly auctioned off for the ladies at their recent dinner dance!

Huge thanks to these two ladies and Pamela Muirhead from WRFC for helping to raise these vital funds for our centre.

Why not come along and join in our knitting and crochet group this afternoon?

The group starts at 1.30pm onwards and all materials are provided.

The group are still working on knitting squares for the blankets for our palliative care beds.
