A fall doesn't just affect the person who falls.

It affects the son who worries, the daughter who rushes to the hospital, and the family who suddenly faces difficult decisions.

The same can be true for UTIs, infections, poor sleep, or reduced mobility.

By the time a problem becomes obvious, it may already have led to hospital appointments, long recovery periods, physiotherapy, and a loss of confidence or independence.

Our NHS does an incredible job, but it is under immense pressure. Waiting lists are long, appointments can be difficult to access, and recovery often takes much longer than people expect.

That's why PREVENTATIVE CARE matters.

Small changes in daily routines often appear long before bigger concerns. Changes in sleep, movement, eating habits, or activity levels can all tell an important story.

Because the goal isn't just to respond when something goes wrong.
It's to notice when something may be changing while there is still time to act.

Most people think falls happen suddenly.

The truth is, they often don't.

Before a fall, there are usually warning signs:

• Moving around the house less• Increased tiredness• More trips to the bathroom• Poor sleep• Night-time wandering• Changes in daily routines• Reduced confidence and mobility

The problem is that these changes often happen gradually and can go unnoticed until a crisis occurs.

At ODDA, we believe in preventative care.

That means identifying changes early, before they become bigger problems.

Our discreet smart sensors learn a person's normal routine and help spot meaningful changes in behaviour, activity, and movement around the home.

No cameras. No microphones. No invasion of privacy.

Just valuable insight that can help families:

âś“ Recognise deterioration earlierâś“ Reduce the risk of fallsâś“ Support recovery after illnessâś“ Make better care decisionsâś“ Help loved ones remain independent for longer

Because the best fall is the one that never happens.

Did Mum get up three times in the night?

Did she wander around the house at 2am?

Is she visiting the toilet more often than usual?

Is she getting out of bed earlier and earlier each morning?

ODDA helps families understand what is happening when no one is there. Using discreet smart sensors (no cameras and no microphones), we can spot changes in daily and nightly routines, helping families identify potential concerns before they become bigger problems.

What actually is Odda?

Odda uses a smart system to help older people stay independent at home for longer - without cameras or microphones.

The system quietly learn someone’s normal daily routine and can highlight unusual changes, such as:

• reduced movement around the home
• changes in sleep patterns
• night-time wandering
• missed kitchen visits or meals
• unusual inactivity
• changes in daily habits

The information is then visible through a secure dashboard, where we monitor for unusual changes, patterns, or potential red flags and provide ongoing insight and reassurance to families.

This can help spot small concerns early - before they become bigger problems.

Odda is not about replacing care.

It’s about supporting independence, respecting privacy and helping families feel more reassured while their loved one remains at home.

No cameras.
No microphones.
Just smart sensors.

The response to Odda already has been incredible.

Before officially launching, we’re already building a waiting list from families interested in technology-enabled independent living support.

Because of the early interest, we’re currently upgrading our sensor systems and preparing for the next stage of launch.

What makes Odda different is simple:
No cameras.
No microphones.
No invasive monitoring.

Just intelligent technology designed to quietly support safer independent living.

This is only the beginning.

Thank you to everyone supporting the journey so far.

Most people don’t want cameras in their home. They just want to know Mum is okay.

That’s why I started ODDA.

Discreet sensors. No cameras. No microphones. Just quiet peace of mind and earlier support when something changes.

Because staying independent shouldn’t mean staying unprotected✨

We’re officially live. 💙

Welcome to Odda - a modern approach to care, combining intelligent technology with real human support.

We use discreet, non-invasive smart sensors to help families stay informed, support independence, and spot changes in wellbeing earlier - all without cameras or microphones.

Because care should feel safe, respectful, and proactive.

Our mission is simple: Help people stay independent at home for longer, while giving families greater peace of mind.

This is not about replacing carers. It’s about supporting better care through smarter tools.

The future of care is prevention, insight, and connection - and we’re proud to bring that future locally to families across our community.

This is just the beginning.
