Let me tell you why your Full Moon release ritual isn’t working.

It’s not the candle. It’s not the paper or the ritual itself.

It’s that you skipped the step that actually matters.

You can’t release what you haven’t been honest about.

Actually honest. Not journalling-on-a-good-day honest, but actual honesty - this is the pattern, this is why I’ve kept it, and this is the story I’ve been telling myself to justify it.

That’s the part most people avoid. Because it’s uncomfortable. Because it requires you to stop performing release and actually do it.

The Full Blue Moon in Sagittarius this Sunday is a truth-teller moon. It’s not interested in the ritual. It’s interested in what you know but haven’t said out loud yet.

So before you reach for the matches this weekend - ask yourself:

What have I convinced myself is just “how things are”?
What truth have I been circling without landing on?

That’s where the release actually lives.

There is a certain kind of loyalty that costs you more than it gives.

That commitment to patterns you can see aren’t working. The loyalty you have to a version of yourself or your life you’ve outgrown, and that loyalty you hold for a story about what’s possible or impossible for you - the story you likely didn’t choose, but inherited.

This Sunday’s Full Blue Moon in Sagittarius is asking you to look at that honestly.

Sagittarius is the sign of truth, expansion, and the bigger picture. It doesn’t let you stay small in something comfortable. And as a Blue Moon - rare, amplified, landing on the last day of May - it carries extra weight.
This isn’t just a Full Moon. It’s a doorway.

The question to sit with before Sunday:
What am I carrying into June that I actually want to leave behind?

On Sunday we gather for our Full Blue Moon in Sagittarius Moon Circle - and this one is going to be something.

A Blue Moon is rare. It’s the second full moon within a single month - and energetically, it carries an amplified quality. Whatever has been building, whatever has been ready to release, whatever truth has been quietly waiting to be spoken - a Blue Moon accelerates it.

And in Sagittarius, that energy is expansive. Bold. It asks you to stop playing small and start moving in the direction of what you actually want.

If you’ve never been to a Moon Circle before - it’s a small, intimate online gathering. We work with the lunar energy together through guided energy work, intention, and a genuinely held space where you get to stop performing and just be.

Happy Bank Holiday, my loves.

If you’re a parent, today might feel less like a day off and more like a day on - just in a different uniform.

Before the week stretches out in front of you and the to-do list quietly expands to fill it, I want to offer you something… Permission to tend to yourself this week. Not after everyone else is sorted. Not during the ten minutes after they’re in bed when you’re already running on empty.

Actually, intentionally, unapologetically this week.

As a mum of two who has built and healed from a breakdown that occurred while raising a baby and toddler: I know the version of you that’s regulated, present, and grounded is the greatest gift you can give your kids. Not the version that’s held it together all day and has nothing left by 4pm.

And the beautiful thing? Your nervous system regulation doesn’t have to happen around them. It can happen with them.

A few things that actually work:

𝐀 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤. No agenda, no destination. Let them lead. You breathe.

𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. Lie on the floor, outside if you can, close your eyes, and just breathe. Kids are surprisingly good at this when you make it feel like an adventure rather than a task.

𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬. Make it together slowly, hold the glass, and actually taste it. Notice tastes, smells,textures, how it feels as you take a sip and swallow. No phones. Just that.

𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭. Put a song on and shake your whole body - arms, legs, everything. Feels silly. Releases tension. Kids love it.

𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞. Get yourself outside. Even just ten minutes, barefoot if you can. Grounding isn’t just a concept - allow yourself to land somewhere steady.

Oh and be sure to have drinks and snacks available for all of you. Thirst and hunger affects your reactions and capacity (and that of your littles) more than you realise.

None of this requires the day to look different. Just a few intentional moments woven into what’s already there.

I want to share something that’s been very present for me recently.

I’ve been showing up more. More consistently, more vulnerably, more publicly than I ever have before.

And every single time I go to post, there’s a part of me that wants to retreat. To hide and to find a compelling reason why today isn’t the right day.

I’ve been sitting with that resistance. Using LUMIS™ to support myself through it and getting curious rather than fighting it.

I’d be willing to bet you know exactly what I’m talking about - even if it shows up differently in your life.

Maybe it’s not about posting. Maybe it’s speaking up in a meeting, asking for what you need, letting someone see you struggle, or charging what your work is actually worth.

The shape of the fear is different. But the root is the same - energetically, an instability in the base centres. Safety. Stability. The right to exist and take up space.

What I’ve learned - and what I’m relearning right now, in real time, is that the fear always always shows up when you step outside of your comfort zone, beyond your “normal”. It doesn’t go away before you act, it goes away through the acting, the doing of the thing.

Your brain will look for evidence to prove the thoughts you are thinking as true. So build the evidence. Choice by choice. That you are safe to be seen, to be visible, to be heard. That being seen doesn’t have to mean being judged. That taking up space isn’t taking something from someone else.

I’m building that evidence. Day by day, every time I do something like this.

Whatever stage you’re in, know that resistance you feel isn’t a sign you’re doing it wrong. It’s likely a sign you’re doing something that matters. Deep breath and keep going.

No, regulation isn’t calm. You can look calm and still be disregulated AF!

That’s the misconception I want to address today - because it keeps people from recognising when they’re actually regulated or when they might need a bit of support.

Regulation is not: feeling peaceful, being unbothered, never getting triggered, being serene in the chaos.

Regulation is: the ability to stay present with what’s real. To feel something difficult without being consumed by it. To respond rather than react. To return to yourself - even after you’ve been pulled away.

You can be regulated and still feel sad.
You can be regulated and still feel frustrated.
You can be regulated and feel deeply, fully, honestly - and still be okay.

That’s what changes when you understand your energy. Not that you feel less. But that you’re no longer run by what you feel.

Our New Moon in Ta**us Moon Circle is tonight - and there is still space for you.

If you’ve never been to a Moon Circle before, here’s what it is:

It’s a small, intimate online gathering - held, guided, and intentionally paced. We work with the energy of the lunar cycle to help you reset, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

We’ll set intentions for this new lunar cycle, move through some guided energy work together, and create space to actually breathe - properly, without an agenda.

It’s not spiritual performance. It’s not overwhelming. It’s just a genuinely held space where you get to stop carrying everything for a little while.

The New Moon in Ta**us is one of the most grounding and restorative of the year. If you’ve been feeling unsteady, scattered, or like you just need to land somewhere - this is the right time.
