A little sparkle, a splash of creativity, and plenty of smiles! 😄

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Sip & Paint session yesterday afternoon, complete with a glass of bubbly and lots of artistic talent on display. 🥂✨

There was plenty of laughter, great conversation, and some fantastic masterpieces created along the way. Activities like these are a lovely way to encourage creativity, confidence, and social interaction while having lots of fun together. ❤️

We think our residents have done an amazing job just look at those works of art! 🎨🖼️

❤️ Moving into a care home can be such a daunting experience. A new environment, new faces, lots of staff and residents to meet, and finding your own little routine can take time.

That’s why it’s so wonderful to see how well Tony has settled into life at Sketty House. 🫶

Not even a week in, and he’s already becoming part of our family. Seeing him looking so content, comfortable, and happy reminds us exactly why we do what we do.

Of course, it’s only fair that the birthday boy gets a special treat, so yesterday Phillip enjoyed a lovely trip up to Dunvant for some delicious food with his best buddy, Len! 🍽️😊

Join us at Sketty House on Tuesday 23rd June at 2:00pm when we’ll be welcoming the ice cream van! ☀️😋

Residents, families, friends, and members of our local community are all welcome to come along and enjoy a delicious ice cream with us. Her ice creams are absolutely outstanding! 🍦❤️

We’d love to see as many people as possible for an afternoon of sweet treats, smiles, and good company.

Busy weekend at Sketty House just how we like it! 🥰

We started things off with our lovely Royal Tea Morning, where residents enjoyed a selection of teas, sweet treats, and plenty of good conversation. ☕👑

It’s been wonderful to see everyone coming together, sharing laughs, making memories, and enjoying the activities on offer. We have lots more planned throughout the week, so watch this space for more photos and updates! 💙

⚽ We kept our favourite activity until last Football Bingo! ⚽

Our residents had a fantastic time taking part, and there were plenty of smiles as the lucky winners collected their prizes. Just look how happy they are! 😊🏆

We are so lucky to have such kind, loving and grateful residents at Sketty House. Days like today remind us why we do what we do. Seeing the joy on their faces is the best reward of all. ❤️

⚽ Our second activity of the day was our football bean bag game! ⚽

Residents had great fun testing their aim, scoring points and getting those arms moving. Activities like this are a fantastic way to encourage gentle exercise, improve coordination and most importantly, bring lots of smiles and laughter. 😊

There was plenty of friendly competition and some impressive goals scored along the way! 🏆⚽
