Have you ever considered the fact that your evening overeating might actually be starting at breakfast time?

Because one of the biggest patterns I see as a doctor and health coach is women trying to “be good” all day…

☕ Tiny breakfast
🥗 Light lunch
🍎 Picking at snacks

…then feeling like they’ve “lost control” by the evening.

But this isn’t a lack of willpower.

It’s biology.

If your meals earlier in the day are low in...

protein
fibre
satisfaction
overall energy intake
..your body will usually try to compensate later.

Which is why so many women say: “I’m so good all day… then evenings are my downfall.”

Sometimes the answer isn’t more restriction.

Sometimes it’s finally eating enough earlier in the day.

I can tell within the first 5 minutes of a discovery call if someone will struggle to lower their cholesterol naturally without my support.

Those with all-or-nothing thinking, who are "good" for a few days, have a "bad" meal, and then kick the bucket for the next fortnight before starting the process again.

After decades of diet culture convincing us we have to be "perfect" to achieve our goals, this isn't our fault. But that doesn't mean its not something actively standing in our way that needs addressing if we ever want to find peace in our lifestyle and achieve our goals.

Those are the people who get the very best results from working with me.

If you struggle with this and want to chat about how I can help, comment or DM "CONSISTENCY"

Below is a list of things I would never do as a doctor if I wanted to lower my cholesterol and lose weight at the same time…

❌ Slash calories so low I’m constantly hungry
❌ Cut out entire food groups unnecessarily
❌ Follow a diet that makes me miserable
❌ Ignore stress and sleep while obsessing over food
❌ Live off “beige diet foods” with no fibre or nutrients
❌ Start over every Monday after one off-plan meal
❌ Avoid strength training because I only focus on the scales
❌ Eat “low carb” while loading meals with saturated fat
❌ Rely on motivation instead of building routines
❌ Expect perfection in order to make progress

Because sustainable cholesterol lowering and sustainable weight loss usually happen from consistent, realistic habits repeated over time… not extremes.

You do not need to punish your body into better health, ever, but especially not around menopause.

Comment or DM 'MENOPAUSE' and I'll send you a more detailed piece I've created on this subject!

In my experience as a doctor turned health coach, women often lower their cholesterol and lose weight more successfully when they stop treating their health like an "on or off" switch.

Because the women who struggle most are rarely lacking motivation.

They're usually stuck in;
- "Perfect or pointless"
- "All in or all out"
- "Being good or kicking the f*ck it bucket"

And that's the exact mindset keeping them stuck.

I live and advocate for the grey zone, where health and habits are on a dial which adjusts up and down as and when required.

For when life is busy, and quiet.
For when stress is manageable, and when it's peaked.
For when life feels stretched, and when it's under control.

Rigid rules and diet approaches are just that, rigid.

Women almost always do better when their plan flexes with their life.

And that's where sustainable weight loss and heart-health improvements tend to happen!

If you’ve landed here recently and you’re wondering what I actually do… 👋

I combine my experience as a Doctor, Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and Behaviour Change Specialist to help women lower their cholesterol and lose weight sustainably… without another miserable diet or feeling like they have to give up everything they enjoy.

Because most people don’t need more conflicting advice. They need clear guidance, realistic structure and support that actually fits into real life.

That’s exactly why I created my Heart-Healthy Living Course and 1:1 Coaching Programme.

A calmer, more sustainable approach to improving your health, breaking free from all-or-nothing thinking, and finally building habits that last.

And as you’ll see from the testimonials in this carousel… real change is absolutely possible ❤️

If you’re ready to step away from the yo-yo cycle and start creating your forever lifestyle, comment or DM “READY” and I’ll send you the details 😊

As The Cholesterol Coach, naturally people come to me for help with lowering their cholesterol.

But each and every one of those clients I've worked with has also lost weight.

Not because I put them on a strict diet.
Not because they cut carbs.
And not because they spend hours exercising every day.

It happens because we improve the foundations that naturally support both goals at the same time.

🧡 More fibre
🧡 More balanced meals
🧡 Better fullness and hunger awareness
🧡 Less all-or-nothing thinking
🧡 More consistency
🧡 Better routines and planning around food, movement and lifestyle habits

And ultimately, because the whole approach is centred around what to ADD to their lives, not focused on what they should REMOVE from their lives.

This makes it more enjoyable, more sustainable, and thus, more successful.

Contrary to what women have been taught for years, you do not need to make yourself miserable to improve your health.

Quite the opposite.

If you're up for it, I'll happily show you how 😊

Comment or 'DM' "HOW" and I'll explain the process.

Why “eating clean" might actually end up raising your cholesterol...

Because for a lot of women, “clean eating” ends up looking like:
🥗 the same bland meals every day
🚫 cutting out all fats
😩 obsessing over calories
❌ avoiding foods they actually enjoy

And in the process, they often miss out on things that genuinely support heart health and healthy cholesterol levels, like:
🐟 omega-3 fats
🥑 unsaturated fats
🌰 nuts and seeds
🫒 olive oil
🌈 a wide variety of nutrients and fibre

Healthy eating should expand your nutrition, not shrink your food world.

One of the biggest reasons people struggle to lower their cholesterol long term is because they try to overhaul their entire lifestyle overnight.

And honestly? That’s exhausting.

You do not need to become “perfect” to improve your heart health.

In most cases, the biggest progress comes from small habits repeated consistently over time:
❤️ eating more fibre
❤️ moving more regularly
❤️ improving meal routines
❤️ cooking at home more often
❤️ reducing all-or-nothing thinking

Sustainable changes will always beat extreme short-term motivation.

That’s exactly why my Heart-Healthy Living Course is designed to help you build realistic habits step-by-step - without overwhelm.

Comment COURSE and I’ll send you the details ✨
