Behind every act of courage is a conversation someone felt safe enough to have.

Our Mind Over Masculinity sessions continue to provide young men with a space where they can be honest, supported and heard - because strength isn't about staying silent, it's about knowing you don't have to face things alone.

We're proud to share the impact this programme is having across our community. To read the full report, visit https://beuswindon.co.uk/journal/mind-over-masculinity-impact-report

Every child and young person has a story to tell. Sometimes they need advice. Sometimes they need support. And sometimes, they just need someone to listen.

👂 Take time to listen.

💬 Make space for honest conversations.

💚 Let children and young people know their feelings matter.

🌱 Help create environments where everyone feels heard, valued and supported.

On this World Mental Health Day, let’s listen to the voices of children and young people, because their experiences matter, their voices matter, and together we can help create real change. Thank you Mental Health Foundation.

Every conversation matters.

Mind Over Masculinity was created to give young men somewhere they could speak openly without fear of judgement.

Over the past year we've seen participants:

• Grow in confidence

• Build healthier coping strategies

• Develop supportive friendships

• Feel more comfortable asking for help

• Challenge harmful stereotypes around masculinity

The impact goes far beyond the sessions themselves - it continues into college, school and everyday life.

Thank you to every young person who's been part of the journey.

From building confidence and self-esteem to challenging stigma around men's mental health, our Mind Over Masculinity group has become a safe space where young men feel accepted, heard and supported.

Young people have shared experiences of anxiety, body image, loneliness, relationships and identity - learning that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

We're proud to continue creating spaces where every young man knows they don't have to face things alone.

Talking changes lives, and we're here for you.

Mind Over Masculinity is our mental health and wellbeing programme that provides young men with a safe, welcoming space to talk openly about mental health, build confidence and develop practical wellbeing skills.

Over time, it's become much more than a weekly group. It's a place where young men can:

🗣️ Talk openly

🌱 Build confidence

🚫 Challenge stigma

🤗 Support one another

🧠 Learn practical ways to look after their mental health
Whether discussing anxiety, body image, relationships or everyday pressures, every session is built around creating a safe space where everyone feels respected and listened to.

Because no one should have to struggle alone.

Anxiety is what we feel when we are worried, tense or afraid. Anxiety can have a trigger, or you can feel it without a clear cause. Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life. These can be mild or severe.

You don't have to hit rock bottom before asking for help. Talk to someone. You deserve support before things get unbearable, not after.
