🌟 Wells Carnival 2026 — We’re Getting Involved!

We’re excited to be supporting Wells Carnival this summer with a whole line‑up of bee‑themed fun for families, locals and visitors. It’s a brilliant community event, and we’re proud to play our part.

🐝 Mini Makes Children’s Workshop

Saturday 1st August – Gordon Barrett Memorial Hall A hands‑on session where children can enjoy simple beeswax mini makes, learn about bees and take home something they’ve crafted themselves. All proceeds go straight to supporting Carnival activities.

🍯 A Year in the Life of a Beekeeper – Adult Talk

Monday 3rd August – Gordon Barrett Memorial Hall A relaxed, engaging look at what really happens inside a hive across the seasons. Perfect for anyone curious about beekeeping or North Norfolk’s pollinators.

We’ll also be joining the Carnival fun on The Buttlands for:

Craft Day – Sunday 2nd August

Food Festival – Tuesday 4th August Come and say hello, try some honey, and chat bees with us.

🐝🎉 Carnival Day – Saturday 8th August - Our Wells‑next‑the‑Sea shop will be taking part in the Best Dressed Window and Best Dressed Staff competitions — expect something suitably bee‑themed. And yes… you’ll also spot us on our very own Carnival float in the annual parade!

Our 1,000th jar of Norfolk honey is heading into the shop for sale!

Every jar has been lovingly produced by our incredible bees and carefully prepared right here at Ivy Cottage Bees by the Sea.

We are so grateful to everyone who has supported our little bee business, popped into the shop, placed an order, shared our posts or recommended us to friends and family.

A little drop of goodness for a tired bee.

Our Ivy Cottage Bees Bee Revival Kits contain a small amount of our honey, ready to help an exhausted bee find its strength again.

Simply remove the top and place a few drops beside the bee not directly on it and give it space to recover.
