Four weeks into MisFIT Club and Kayleigh’s already noticing something shift.🔥

Not the scales. Not her dress size. The noise in her head around food. The out of control evenings. The restriction binge guilt cycle she’d been stuck in for years.

She wrote: “feeling a sense of control and appreciating it’s not a quick fix this time.”

That last bit. That’s it. That’s what it’s all about.

Because the women who come to MisFIT Club aren’t lacking willpower, they’re exhausted from white-knuckling it through plans that were never designed to actually work long term.

Real change doesn’t feel like white-knuckling. It feels like quiet. Less noise. More trust.

If you’re tired of the cycle and ready to actually break it drop “COACHING” in my DMs and I’ll tell you everything. 👇

You don’t believe you can do it.👀

And I get it, I really, really do!
Because when you’ve tried and it hasn’t worked, again and again, your brain starts to write a story. That you’re the one who can’t stick to things. That nothing works for you. That there’s no point trying again because you already know how this ends.

So you start to think, what’s the point of investing that time and money when I’m just going to get the same outcome?

But that’s not the truth. That’s a limiting belief. A belief that is limiting you and it’s been stealing your potential and your sparkle for years.

Every time something didn’t work, diet culture told you it was your fault. Not enough willpower. Not enough discipline. Not enough of something. And you gathered the evidence. Attempt after attempt, all pointing to the same conclusion.

But the conclusion was wrong. Because the approach was wrong. Not you.

So here’s what we do with that belief. We take it from “I’m going to fail again, there’s no point” to “there is a way that works for me, I just haven’t found the right approach yet” to “I trust myself to make the changes I need and break free from diet culture for good.”

That’s not toxic positivity. That’s rewriting a story that was never true in the first place.
This is the work that changes everything. Not the plan. The belief underneath it.

What limiting belief has been holding you back? Comment “BELIEF” and I’ll send you over something to help break it 👇

Scared of losing control around food if you stop tracking?🌀

If you’re feeling like you need to keep tracking food or be on a diet for fear of losing control and what that would mean for your health and well-being, then this post is for you.

I know I get it. I struggled with this myself. I thought if I didn’t track or if I didn’t watch every single little morsel that I ate and weighed it, that I would put on weight. I would lose all my progress and would be even more unhappy in my body.

I now know this was the grip that diet culture had over me. It made me distrust my body and my own decisions, especially around food.

So this wasn’t actually me controlling food; it was food controlling me, or more specifically, diet culture controlling me.

So the research is pretty clear on this. If you’re someone that is tracking, dieting, the food noise is amplified. If you’re telling yourself that certain foods are off limits, it makes you want them even more! And this is what causes and fuels the binge-restrict cycle, the one that makes you hit the “f**k it” button on the weekend.

But through my own journey and helping hundreds of women break free from diet culture, I now understand that food freedom isn’t about losing control; it’s about gaining control back from diet culture.

It’s about not having the guilt and the shame around certain foods. It’s about being able to be present in social events, enjoying meals because you’re not trying to do mental arithmetic, calculating every single little calorie you’ve just eaten. It’s about enjoying a birthday cake with your daughter on her birthday without the side of shame.

That’s what this is about. That’s what food freedom is, and if you want some help with getting there, then I’ve got the exact thing to help you.

Aprons on the catwalk. And I have thoughts. 👀

I get that the intention might’ve been to celebrate women’s invisible labour, the unpaid, unseen work that keeps everything running. But in this climate? This lands completely differently.

We’ve got Reform Party politicians saying women should have children younger, that they’re not career driven, and that childless couples should be taxed. We’ve got trad wife content absolutely everywhere. We’ve got women’s rights being dismantled in real time across the Atlantic.

And then the fashion elite puts a £2,000–£3,000 apron on a catwalk and calls it a statement.

That’s not feminist nuance. That’s the apron being stripped of its meaning the second it hits a platform like that and worn by people who will never actually wear one out of necessity.

It feels like a mockery. Of working class women. Of the actual labour being “celebrated.” Of all of us who are watching rights quietly erode while luxury brands play dress-up with our reality.

I help women break out of the societal norms that keep them small. And this? This is one of the most disempowering things I’ve seen on a catwalk in a long time.

This is a bigger conversation and I want to hear where you land on it. Drop it in the comments 👇

Body image isn’t about vanity.
We’ve been told that caring about how we look is vanity. Shallow. Something to get over.
The research says something completely different. It’s important to address this and give yourself permission to want to feel confident in the way you look.

Body image isn’t about appearance.
It’s about how safe you feel existing in your own skin. And when that doesn’t feel safe, it ripples into everything.
Research from the Mental Health Foundation found that 1 in 5 adults said their relationships had been negatively affected by their body image. Not feeling present with a partner. Withdrawing from intimacy. Pulling away from the people they love because of how they felt in their body.

I know that feeling all too well. I didn’t love my body and in turn was so distracted by this in effected my relationships, my presence and how I was showing up for life in general. Only when I found the acceptance in my body did other areas start to improve along with it.
Better relationships, better career, and actually enjoying life.

I work with women every day who have spent years believing their body was the problem. That if they could just fix how they looked everything else would fall into place. But the body was never the problem. It was always the relationship with it. The beliefs around it. The years of being told their worth lived in how they appeared.

That’s the work. Not shrinking the body. Healing the relationship with it.
Because when that shifts, the research shows, I know it first hand, everything else shifts with it.

Imagine waking up with actual energy.
Not dragging yourself through the day. 🔥

What if you woke up tomorrow with actual energy? Not the dragging yourself out of bed, running on empty, counting down to bedtime kind of day. Actual energy. Feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world.

That’s what I want for you. And here’s what’s actually standing in the way of it.
It’s not just the sleep. Yes perimenopause affects sleep and there’s only so much we can control there (but thats for another post!). But there’s something else deeper than that and it’s draining you just as much.

Your brain never switches off. More responsibilities than ever before. Kids, elderly parents, a household to run, work…. I mean the list goes on. So much mental load.

And then diet culture piled on top of all of it, constantly thinking about food, monitoring your body, comparing yourself to every woman you walk past. That is an enormous amount of brain capacity being used up before you’ve even had your morning coffee.

I know I have been there, my head felt like it was spinning at times, worried about how many calories I was eating, what I should or shouldn’t eat, if I had ruined it because I caved in and had a chocolate bar. Then the body monitoring on top of that.
Constantly checking my body, constantly comparing, catching a glimpse of myself and spiralling.
That takes up way more energy than we realise.

Research shows we make hundreds of food related decisions every single day. When that much mental energy is going to food noise and body monitoring there is nothing left for the things that actually matter. Your relationships. Your work. Being present in your own life.

We can’t eliminate perimenopause. But we can reduce diet culture’s grip on your headspace. And when food stops taking up every waking moment of your thoughts, you get that energy back. When you stop monitoring and comparing, your nervous system finally gets to rest.

That’s where the energy comes from. Not a better supplement. Not another sleep hack. Freedom from the mental load diet culture has been creating for years.
