Eating tiny portions all day isn’t what actually gets results.

I see this so often. Women cutting back, feeling hungry, pushing through, and still not seeing the progress they want.

Recently one of my clients told me she had more energy, fewer crashes during the day, less desire for sugary foods and had lost weight too.

The interesting part? We didn’t focus on eating as little as possible.

We focused on building meals that were more satisfying. Adding more fruit and vegetables. Including foods that contain fibre. Making sure meals actually kept her going between meals.

Because the goal isn’t to get through the next few weeks.

It’s to build habits that still feel manageable months and years from now.

Not another week of being “good”.

The comments women make when something finally clicks.

Because that’s the real goal.

Healthy eating can feel impossible when you’re exhausted.

Not because you don’t care.
Not because you’re lazy.
Not because you’ve “fallen off track”.

Usually it’s because you’re trying to juggle work, family, life admin, looking after everyone else, and somehow still expected to have the time and energy to think about balanced meals all day too.

When you’re running on empty, food often becomes the first thing to slip.

You skip meals because you’re busy, grab whatever’s easiest, then by the evening you’re starving and picking at everything in sight.

And then comes the guilt, the “I need to get back on track” thoughts, and the cycle starts all over again.

Healthy eating should not feel this hard.
