We kicked off August with Lammas/Lughnasadh, which sits at the threshold between the height of summer and the gradual turning toward autumn. A liminal moment: the Sun is still strong, but we are beginning to ask what has actually ripened, what can be harvested and what must be released? A time to think about: What have you cultivated that is now ready to become nourishment -for yourself, your community and the future?

But there is also a shadow.
Leo + Jupiter can become excessive: too much certainty, too much self-importance, too much desire to be seen. The shamanic medicine here is humility within power.

“How can I become powerful enough to serve what is greater than myself?”
