What a wonderful surprise for my eldest son Jonathan to see a deer as he walked through a forest in Sweden yesterday. 🦌

The stag and doe are my spirit animals and seeing this magical encounter expertly captured on video brought me great joy. Hope you like it too.✨

When the world feels hard, remember this wisdom from Brigit McNeill:

“We live on a planet where trees feed their dying elders through underground rivers of root and fungus. Where whales carry songs older than memory across entire oceans and octopuses dream in shifting colour. Where every breath we take is given by trees and the algae drifting through the sea. Where plants rise around us as medicine, monarch butterflies travel thousands of miles on wings softer than paper, and tiny birds navigate by sensing the earth itself. Where starlight travels for millions of years before touching the earth, and tiny seeds break open stone in their longing for light.” 🌱

✨ Do you feel the awe & magic in the natural world? ✨

🌱 Nature is my temple, where I feel safe and witnessed - are you the same? 🌲

🌀 Do you feel a longing inside to belong? Are you searching for kindred spirits? Do you want to join my circle? ⭕️

🪘 Would you like to connect with me and drum, chant and sing in woods, at sacred sites and on hills? 🌲

🕯️ Would you enjoy creating mandalas in nature, ceremonies of gratitude, experience peaceful meditations and share food and insightful conversations?

Let’s come together in community and lift each other’s spirits and spread joy 🤩

If this post speaks to you, please post CIRCLE in the comments and I will be in touch - or email me - my website is in my bio. 🙏

🌈 Pride, for me, is about the full acceptance of who I am, not having to hide or deny a part of myself. Not being given shame by people who love you with conditions.

🌈 Pride is a celebration that love is love. Pride is still so important today as people around the world are still discriminated against because of their sexual orientation or their gender identity.

🌈 Whilst there are still places in the world where it is illegal to be LGBTQ+ (65 countries worldwide outlaw being gay, in 11 it is punishable by the death penalty) and whilst bigotry and prejudice are on the rise all round the world, Pride remains important. Pride is working towards the safety and freedom to share ‘I am here, I deserve love.’

🌈 Pride is a time of empowerment, where public spaces are occupied to celebrate love, and to also challenge homophobic and transphobic laws and legislation, and a reminder that we have a way to go in dismantling the prejudices that exist in society today. I hope one day we will live in a global society where all individuals are celebrated.

“REMEMBERING OUR UNITY, HONOURING OUR UNIQUENESS”

🌈 At the heart of OneSpirit Interfaith Ministry’s code of ethics is ‘remembering our unity, honouring our uniqueness’ and we actively aim to keep our hearts and minds open to everyone. Celebrating difference but not separation. We stand firmly in the position that we are all one, connected through love, and are committed to joining in the awakening of a global and inclusive spirituality.

May all beings be safe & happy, live with ease, and know liberation. May all beings be free. 🙏

“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek” - Joseph Campbell

So many of us are going through a time of change & transformation - and it’s a tough ride. Fear of failure and feeling not good enough has certainly kept me contracted and small. But no more!

The cave that Joseph Campbell refers to is a metaphor for life’s most important challenges—the ones that shape us into who we’re meant to be. It reminds us that the obstacles we fear most are often the gateways to our greatest triumphs. The treasure, after all, is not just what we find at the end of the journey, but the transformation we undergo along the way.

This morning I also remembered the Sufi mystic, Rumi’s wisdom: “Stop acting so small: You are the Universe in Ecstatic motion!”

So, when you find yourself standing at the entrance to your own cave, feeling fear (False Evidence Appearing Real), hesitation, or uncertainty, remember, all you need is the courage to take that first step inside and the treasure will be waiting for you.

Photo: I took this from inside the cave at Port Quin in Cornwall. I felt safe and held by the Divine mother - a dark cave is that womb space where everything is possible.❤️

Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud - Maya Angelou

I’ve had so many rainbows in my clouds
I had a lot of clouds
So I don’t ever feel
I have no help

I’ve had rainbows in my clouds

And the thing to do it seems to me
Is to prepare yourself
So that you can be a rainbow
In somebody else’s cloud

Somebody who may not look like you
May not call God the same name you call God
If they call god at all
You see

May not eat the same dishes prepared the way you do
May not dance your dances
or speak your language

But be a blessing to somebody

That’s what I think.
