SHEN BREAKS THE CIRCLE OF DESPAIR

People often carry invisible emotional weight.

They continue leading.
Parenting.
Deciding.
Performing.

Yet internally, something loops over and over again.

A conversation.
A betrayal.
A loss.
A setback.

The thoughts repeat.
The emotional charge remains.
The body holds it.

SHEN body- mind Therapy works differently.

Rather than analysing the narrative, SHEN gently alters the way emotion is held within the body. Deep, unresolved emotional imprints — often stored around the heart and abdomen — are worked with directly through precise, sustained hand placements.

There is no force.
No pressure.
No re-traumatisation.

A 90-minute session can begin to interrupt entrenched emotional cycles.

For those ready to create meaningful change, I recommend a series of at least 5–6 sessions to allow measurable emotional processing and integration.

This is not talk therapy.
It is not mindset work.
It is a different way of shifting what the body has been carrying.

The magic is that mindset and emotions then shift automatically !

For people who feel outwardly capable yet inwardly stuck — SHEN offers a way forward.

Feed back from a recent client:

I didn’t know what to expect from Shen therapy, so came with no predisposed ideas. My experience was very grounding and calming. Carmel made me feel safe supported and deeply relaxed during the sessions. I felt a lot of tension at times and didn’t realise I was holding in so much. Having experienced a difficult year and the unexpected death of my sister in 2025 I definitely was holding so much pain, anxiety and grief inside of me. I can honestly say after each session I did feel lighter and felt something was happening inside of me to help me with my grief and anxiety. I know I am still on a journey, but am so grateful for these sessions as they are so powerful in my healing journey. Shen is amazing and Carmel is an amazing healer.

When the body settles, insight follows — and behaviour shifts naturally. One of the most satisfying aspects of SHEN Physio-Emotional Release Therapy is witnessing what happens after a session. A client may lie on the SHEN cradle, receive the Qi body-mind treatment, and then get up with a quiet but...
