Around the fire we were asked what does summer solstice mean to you? I said abundance. There's so much life in the garden and on the trails I walk. I love taking photos of flowers and bees. They're exquisite. What does this time of year mean to you?

Solstice fire last night was magical. There was music, drumming, didgeridoo, children laughing, and wisdom shared. Thanks The Planetary Healing Centre for organising, here's to many more to come.

Free on Saturday evening? I'll be playing some sound to raise money for The Planetary Healing Centre who have a big give campaign this week. If they make £5500 the postcode lottery will match donations! This community charity puts on lots of lovely events in the woodlands in Balerno plus the yurt and hut depending on what's on/weather. They do men's and women's circles and in my opinion are the most welcoming compassionate people to meet and place to go do fun things for all ages and people. Give if you can and go along to any of their events on their website.

Join us in the woodland for an evening of sound, shamanic healing, and deep connection with nature. This is a community gathering held in the living heart of the woodland, where the land itself becomes part of the medicine.

As the Big Give campaign week draws toward its close, we invite you to support our charity by participating on this event and donating generously.

The Planetary Healing Centre needs to raise funds to run life changing workshops throughout the year, therefore we need your help.

One morning I woke up with the motivation to go find a waterfall. It was a quiet time of year in the Himalayas and I didn't see a sole as I trod a small worn path which hugged the mountain. I came to a landslide which had spewed rocks down the mountain side over my pathway about 10 metres wide. Then out of nowhere a local guy passes me and hurriedly tip toes onwards over the landslide, presumably headed for the waterfall. Huh, guess it's ok, I thought and continued. I heard the waterfall before I saw it. This is a cafe where the local guy had spotted me and hence was brewing some chai in hope I'd be his customer. I love the colour of the stone walls matching the prayer flags above. I enjoyed a little meditation and opened my eyes to a ladybird sitting on my knee. Drank my chai, enjoyed the noises of being surrounded by thick nature, and then headed back before nightfall.

Go Art workshop in India, I had no idea what was going to come out that day but it feels like the good from the left are warding off the bad coming in from the top right. What do you think?

Smiling today, I made it to a botanical collage workshop. I'm wearing a new t-shirt from my friend 's daughter who has a print on demand collection of prints/tees/stickers etc. based in Scotland. She's affected by ME and I love her products about how important naps/community/caring etc. are! I'll post my finished collage soon as I'm knackered now!

Blank sheets of paper are intimidating. My friend Muna took a stick with a little black ink and rolled the stick over this page. It made a sort of fan shape. I got an impression (aphantasia girly) of this woman either looking at a map or out a window or perhaps a body of water. What do you see/think/feel when you look at this?

The inspiration was the red sea and I gifted this painting to an inspiring and strong woman called Momo in Dahab, Egypt.
