Long story short. I don’t offer free trial classes at my studio because…….
1) Pilates means too many different things now. I’ve had people come to class who’ve practised Pilates before; but never practised the Hundred, asked me what on earth we were doing when I cued Rolling like a ball! I could do on but the point is it’s not fair on my current members to go over fundamentals and it’s not fair on a new client trying to keep up with an experience they thought they were prepared for. I feel bad and it’s just not worth it.
2) I want to give people the best Pilates experience I can. My classes, of which there are different types, max out at 5. I am not trying to fill in excess of 8 “beds” and I don’t have filler space I can use for rotating free trials. I want to commit to your Pilates journey and I want people committed to their practice, their time and their investment.
So if you want to try the studio or me out, we have 4 week Pilates fundamentals courses which cover the Mat, Reformer and all the other apparatus on the studio. Next one starts July let me know if you have any questions about it.
I also offer an intro to the studio package which is 3 privates and then any class to try.
Or you are welcome to buy a credit and book in a single class. But with how Pilates is now I can’t guarantee it will be the same or even similar to your previous Pilates class, and to be honest it’s hard to really get a handle on anything from one session.
