One thing I've been reflecting on lately is how often we label ourselves as "stuck".
Stuck in life.
Stuck in a relationship.
Stuck in a season.
Stuck in our emotions.
But what if you're not stuck at all?
What if you're grieving?
Not necessarily a person.
A chapter.
A dream.
A version of yourself.
A future you thought would happen.
When we're grieving, the nervous system often responds by slowing us down.
We may feel tired.
Unmotivated.
Emotional.
Foggy.
Unable to move forwards as quickly as we'd like.
And instead of meeting ourselves with compassion, we often judge ourselves for it.
Understanding what's happening in your nervous system can change everything.
Because awareness creates choice.
And when we understand ourselves better, we can support ourselves better.
This is a big part of the work I do through breathwork, nervous system coaching and my group sessions.
Not fixing people.
Helping them understand themselves.
Helping them regulate their nervous system.
Helping them come home to themselves.
