One of my most favourite types of work is recording audio tours for museums and art galleries. I've always been interested in history, and I love to be able to guide visitors around historic places with my voice.

Here is a link to an audio guide I recorded for the Escher in het Paleis gallery in The Hague. I'm sure you'll be familiar with Escher's work - those impossible prints where people seem to be walking around a staircase that they can never leave, and so on.

This was a really fun project, and the best bit was the curator sent me images of all the pictures I was going to talk about so I could enjoy them for myself while I was recording the narration.

This audio tour is hosted on a mobile app, which makes having an audio tour really accessible for even the smallest museum or gallery. There's no need for a big budget to invest in headsets for visitors to borrow - visitors simply download the tour to their own phones and off they go.

If you know of a museum or gallery that would like to have an audio tour, please put me in touch!

My guest on the Come Here! podcast this week is Fiona Rosher, manager of the Dales Countryside Museum.

The museum is a National Park museum, sharing the stories of the people and places of the Yorkshire Dales. It is housed in a light and airy contemporary extension of Hawesโ€™ former Victorian railway station, which sets the friendly and welcoming tone of the whole experience. The added bonus of the loco and railway carriages generates great excitement for families. Object rich displays include hands-on activities and the voices of local people help bring collections to life. With changing exhibitions and over 70 events each year, it's definitely a place worth visiting!

My guest on this week's episode of the Small Business Big Network podcast is Sarah White.

Sarah is a Personal Branding and Visibility Mentor, Speaker and Networking Host, supporting business owners to build a brand that reflects who they are and what they stand for.

Sarah struggled in business for a long time, expecting her work to speak for itself and not wanting to be around other business owners for fear of being judged and feeling inferior. When she did try networking though, the power of letting people get to know the person behind the business became clear, and Sarah has since built her business around helping others to do just that!

On this week's episode of the Come Here! podcast we're talking about natural heritage for a change. My guest is Emma Wilmot from the Far Ings National Nature Reserve in Barton on Humber, part of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.
The reserve has an industrial past which you can still see signs of today, but the star attractions are the many kinds of wildlife that now make the reed beds of the reserve their home.
Find out what you can see there by having a listen at www.lizdrury.com/come-here/
