The Nook is evolving into a creative and wellbeing hub in the heart of Perranporth.

As we say goodbye to our regular yoga programme, we’re welcoming a new addition: a Shared Artist Studio for artists, illustrators, makers, designers and creatives looking for an inspiring place to work.

We are moving into a new chapter at The Nook, we’ll be bringing our weekly yoga sessions to a close on May 30th.

I’m so grateful to all of our teachers and everyone who’s been part of this space, it’s meant more than I can say.

The good news is that there is a brand new purpose built studio opening just 2 minutes away on Old Station Road, due to open in June.

Calling all surf and ocean lovers 🌊

Join on 1st March, 10am–12pm at The nook in Perranporth for a cosy morning to dive into the real human side of surfing - the ups, the downs, and all the in‑between bits.

If you’ve ever felt fear, frustration, mental blocks, imposter syndrome, had a scary incident or injury that’s knocked your confidence, or you simply love talking about your surf & ocean experiences, this workshop is for you.

Across three parts - a surf confidence intro & sharing circle, practical exercises in pairs/small groups, and a guided visualisation & closing circle - you’ll get space to be heard, supported, and inspired.

We’ll explore tools and techniques like present moment awareness, positive visualisations, emotional state shifts (from fear to curiosity), gentle goal setting, identifying barriers, breathing exercises and self‑compassion to help you feel more confident, calm and joyful in the water.
