🍾🎉 We’re Celebrating 12 Years! 🎉🍾

This weekend marks 12 years of Twisted Arts !

We’re so proud of how far we have come from our humble beginnings from renting a small studio in Skeeby to moving in to Richmond then going on to buying our studio building securing our future for the years ahead aswell as being Richmonds longest established tattoo studio.

And its all thanks to you guys who support us and push us to be the best and we appreciate everyone that walks through our studio doors.
As for the future we have the next chapter in the making with new super talented artists coming in and dare we say it another studio in the pipeline to look forward to .

So here’s to the years to come and we will celebrate this one this weekend. As always we look forward to seeing you all soon for your next tattoos and piercings

💥 Some Amazing News! 💥

We’re excited to share Eanis has decided to become a permanent member and join the Twisted Arts Family. Now he has completed his tattoo registration he is ready to open his diary and start taking on appointments. We will be posting his available dates over the next week so keep an eye out. In the meantime you can go check him out and give him a follow on Instagram this guy is a seriously experienced and professional artist.

This is just another step on our growth journey, there will be more exciting developments and posts soon so don’t miss them, the studio soon will be open every day and with longer hours … and who knows we may need additional premises at this rate! 🙊

Another year another ‘nomination’ for best Tattoo Studio in Yorkshire…….No Thanks !!

So apparently we got nominated by the anonymous public and this letter just didn’t get sent to every studio in the area, hmmmm ok.
This is something that is not helping the tattoo studios and the industry but helping a company make easy money out of many business sectors .

So to break it down……
We’re ‘nominated’ and all we have to do is make payment of £174+vat to a company that has no affiliation let alone understanding of the tattoo industry and then get all our customers and friends to vote for us, ok not bias at all then, and if we become a finalist we then pay again to book a table at the ceremony and get more friends to vote. So absolutely nothing to do with our studio or tattooing ability and no judgement made on our work?? No, its just based on your bank details and friends votes.

What happened to working conventions and putting your work up against others to be judged and winning an actual award given out by people in the industry? This is just a payed fast track for studios to claim ’Award Winning Status’ without producing a single tattoo.

This just encourages and leads the way for pop up studios up and down the country that can’t even put a stencil on the right way around never mind put in a straight line, to buy in to this and then have the claim to be the best in the area! How anyone could claim this let alone believe in it when no work has been judged as its literally bought. Meanwhile there are studios out there absolutely slaying it with mega work, but if they’re not buying in to this they are not in with a shout of being ‘the best’?

So, as every year, we’ll save our time, money and integrity and pass and leave it the the wannabes that seek the fake validation.

Awards are earned not bought.
