We’re delighted to share that Divergent Thinking has been shortlisted as a finalist at the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards 2026 in the Diversity and Inclusion category. 🌟

As a disabled-led social enterprise based in Hertfordshire, this recognition means a huge amount to us.

Our work is focused on helping organisations move beyond awareness and build workplaces where neurodivergent people are understood, supported and able to thrive.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Divergent Thinking so far — our clients, collaborators, partners and community. We’re proud to be recognised alongside so many brilliant Hertfordshire businesses making a difference.

We’d love your support.

Divergent Thinking has been shortlisted for a Hustle Award, and we’re also in the running for the Reader’s Choice Award.

If you believe in the work we’re doing to make workplaces more neuroinclusive, accessible and supportive of different minds, please take a moment to vote for Divergent Thinking.

Voting closes on 18 June.

Vote here: https://thehustleawards.co.uk/readers-choice-award-2026/

Every vote helps shine a light on the importance of practical neuroinclusion — not just raising awareness, but helping organisations communicate better, support people well and create environments where neurodivergent people can thrive.

Thank you so much for supporting Divergent Thinking.

Throwback to delivering a session with Coram on confidence and practical inclusion.

What stood out was the room’s openness — people asked questions, challenged assumptions and explored how support can feel more human.

Feedback: “Nat is an excellent facilitator” and “Pitched well with practical tips without dumbing down,” noting his knowledge and lived experience.

For us the aim is the same: make neurodiversity clear, practical and grounded in real life without losing nuance. Neuroinclusion works when people leave more aware and confident to act.

Pleased to share that Divergent Thinking is now People and Planet First Verified as a Social Enterprise.

This verification reflects something that has always sat at the heart of the work: using business as a way to create practical social impact, not just profit. Through training, speaking and consultancy, Divergent Thinking exists to help organisations build more inclusive environments for neurodivergent people and turn inclusion into everyday practice.

It is meaningful to be part of a growing global movement of enterprises choosing to put people and planet first.

We’re delighted to share that Divergent Thinking is joining Impact Hub London’s Together for Wellbeing programme.

This programme supports social enterprises working to improve mental health and wellbeing through preventative and systemic change.

For us, neuroinclusion is a wellbeing issue. When workplaces, education settings and services are not designed with neurodivergent people in mind, the impact can include stress, masking, exclusion and burnout.

We’re looking forward to learning alongside the cohort and strengthening our work to help neurodivergent people participate, contribute and thrive.

Thank you to Impact Hub London for the opportunity.

We’re really proud to share that Nat Hawley, Founder of Divergent Thinking, has been selected as a finalist for the Making a Difference Award (Independent) at the National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards 2026. 🌟

This recognition means a lot because the award celebrates people working to improve the lives, opportunities and experiences of learning disabled and autistic people.

At Divergent Thinking, our work is about moving beyond awareness and into practical, human change, helping organisations understand neurodiversity, reduce avoidable barriers, and create environments where different minds can genuinely thrive.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported, collaborated with and trusted this work so far. We’re honoured to be recognised alongside so many brilliant finalists across the sector.

We are pleased to share that Divergent Thinking is now Good Market approved.

Good Market is a global digital commons for people and organisations creating a better world, so it is great to see Divergent Thinking recognised as part of that community.

This reflects what sits at the heart of the work: practical neuroinclusion, social impact, and helping organisations create environments where different minds can thrive.

We are pleased to share that Divergent Thinking UK is now a Certified Social Enterprise through Social Enterprise UK.

We didn’t set this up just to “do neurodiversity training”.

The aim is to help organisations make practical changes that improve life for neurodivergent and disabled people

This feels like a useful marker of that purpose.

Thanks to everyone who has supported, booked, recommended, challenged, or encouraged the work so far.

Onwards.

Really pleased to share that Divergent Thinking has been nominated for the National Diversity Awards 2026 in the Community Organisation Award for Disability category.

It’s lovely to see this recognised.

Divergent Thinking was created to help build a world where neurodivergent people are better understood, better supported, and more able to thrive without having to hide who they are. This nomination reflects the power of lived experience, practical action, and all the brilliant people and organisations who have trusted us to be part of their journey.

A genuine thank you to everyone who has supported, collaborated, encouraged, and championed the work.
