Role Overview
Seeking an experienced and professional Chief Stewardess to lead the interior
department for the season. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, well-presented Chief Stewardess
who takes pride in delivering a high standard of service and maintaining a beautifully run interior.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the yacht’s interior operation, ensuring excellent
guest service, smooth daily routines, strong team management, and consistently high standards throughout.
Key Responsibilities
The Chief Stewardess will be responsible for the full management of the interior department, including guest
service, housekeeping, laundry, provisioning, inventories, table styling, interior maintenance, and crew
management.
● Leading, training, and managing the interior team
● Delivering professional and attentive guest service at all times
● Planning and executing meal service, drinks service, and guest hospitality
● Maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping throughout guest and crew areas
● Overseeing laundry, wardrobe care, and delicate garment handling
● Managing interior inventories, including linens, uniforms, toiletries, drinks, and guest supplies
● Provisioning for the interior department and assisting with guest preferences
● Creating table settings, floral displays, and interior presentation appropriate to each occasion
● Liaising closely with the Captain, Chef, and other departments to ensure smooth yacht operations
● Preparing the yacht for guest trips, owner use, turnarounds, and inspections
● Ensuring interior areas are maintained to an immaculate standard
● Managing interior budgets and purchase records where required
● Supporting a positive, professional, and respectful crew environment
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Chief Stewardess, or be a strong Second Stewardess
ready to step up on a similar-sized motor yacht. They should be confident running the interior department.
