I gifted my book to xxamelia28, who lives with MS and chronic pain, because I really wanted to hear from someone with such deep, lived experience what she truly felt about it.

She read it. She took the time. And she wrote the most thoughtful review.

I’m so grateful 🤍

When someone who really knows pain feels seen and supported by these words… that means everything.

I was kindly gifted The Safety Signal by Dr Annalisa Manca and honestly, it’s such a powerful read 🤍 Dr Annalisa Manca Psychotherapy

As someone who lives with Multiple Sclerosis, I’m always trying to better understand my nervous system and how it affects my body day to day. This book really resonated with me because it focuses on the idea that healing isn’t about pushing harder, it’s about creating safety.

When you have a chronic illness like MS, your body can feel like it’s constantly on high alert. Learning how to send it signals of safety instead of stress feels incredibly empowering.

Such a gentle, insightful and comforting read. Thank you so much for this beautiful gifted book 🤍📖

First of all… You’re not imagining this.

You get to bed thinking “Wow… today was good!”

You moved more.
You laughed.
You felt almost normal.

Then the next morning you wake up in pain.

Out of nowhere.

So your brain immediately goes to:
“I overdid it.”
“I’ve set myself back.”
“I knew it was too good to last.”

But here’s the part no one explains:

A good day doesn’t mean you’ve done something wrong.
And a spike doesn’t mean you’re going backwards.

Sometimes your nervous system just needs time to recalibrate after feeling safe, open, or active.

That delayed spike?
It’s common.
It’s confusing.
And it doesn’t mean damage.

Drop a 🤍 if this happens to you.

Moving pain doesn’t mean spreading damage.
It means your body is reacting, not breaking.
