☀️This study is a survey exploring experiences of hot weather during pregnancy and during the first month after birth.
We are keen to reach more patients through our maternity social media platforms ☀️

We are interested in hearing from people (16 years and older) living in England who:
🤰Are pregnant

🤰Have been pregnant in the last 12 months

👶 Are a parent, guardian or carer of a baby aged 12 months or younger (not as part of paid work)

✨ Are a partner of any of the above

Mental Health Awareness Week 🤍

Around 1 in 5 women experience mental health changes during pregnancy or within the first year after birth.

Postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and psychosis are more common than most people realise, and often go unspoken because of shame, guilt, or fear of being judged.

But the truth is, you can be a loving, devoted mother and still feel anxious, overwhelmed, irritable, or not like yourself.

You deserve support
You deserve to be heard
You are not alone

Well Done Tej🏅

One of our Maternity Support Workers, Tejmaya Sigdel, has achieved a Guinness World Record for fastest female to run the London Marathon in traditional Nepalese dress.

‘Tej’, who works in our Maternity Department at Hillingdon Hospital, finished the 26 miles and 385 yards of the race yesterday (Sunday 26 April) in 3hr 37min.

She recently participated in the 777 Nepal Marathon Challenge, where she ran seven marathons in seven days, and has also completed the seven ‘major’ marathons of London, Tokyo, Boston, Berlin, Chicago, New York and Sydney 👏👏
