If you're over 40 and haven't had your blood pressure checked in a while it's a good idea to get it checked - many people who have high blood pressure don't even know as it can have no symptoms at all! ❤️

Could you have high blood pressure? You may be able to get this checked for free at a pharmacy.

High blood pressure can cause serious conditions such as stroke and heart disease.

One of our colleagues is doing a fundraiser for Nerve Tumours UK - walking and running 50k in May!

May is Neurofibromatosis awareness month - a group of rare genetic condition that causes tumours to grow on nerve endings, and which also has many associated medical conditions and complications. Nerve Tumours UK does fantastic research to help support people affected by these conditions and to work towards treatments and one day a cure!

If you can spare anything to support Charlotte's journey it would be hugely appreciated 💙

💉COVID VACCINE ELIGIBILITY💉

We have been made aware that some patients are receiving messages from the NHS encouraging them to attend for covid vaccinations who aren't eligible under the current criteria. Please check the eligibility criteria before booking your appointment to avoid disappointment.

- Adults aged 75 years and over (by 30 June 2026)
- Residents in a care home for older adults
- Individuals aged 6 months and over who have a weakened immune system (please see link below for specific conditions)

There will be some pharmacies in the area open for emergencies and 111 will also be available for medical advice.

Dispenser qualification and pharmacy experience preferred. Initially a part-time role (approx. 20 hours a week) with a view to increase hours as the business grows.
