Face coverings are not normal in Europe but they will be, art leads the way in making them common-or-garden and de rigeur. The science is pretty clear that wearing them in public places stops you spreading the virus which protects you. A virtuous circle.

🙌 We may have had to pause visor production due to the new government regulations, but our volunteers are as committed as ever.

😷 Instead, they are making masks and ear savers — these items that are in high demand from frontline workers but don’t require certification. Get in touch if you or your organisation need some.

For the time being, we cannot produce or distribute more visors given new government requirements for certification. Yet our thoughts remain with frontline workers going above and beyond in these difficult times. We are working hard to find a solution so we can continue to provide the PPE you still desperately need. Thank you for all that you do!

‼️ New government guidance now means that PPE providers by community groups like ours now need certification. While we work on this, we will be pausing production and distribution of visors.

💖 We want to take this chance to thank all of our partners, volunteers and donors for their contributions of hard work, time, materials and donations. Without you, we couldn't have achieved a whooping 23,000+ visors to over 160 hospitals, care homes, GPs, Covid centers, etc!

🤫 We have some exciting projects coming soon too, so stayed tuned! (Hint: masks and ear savers!)

😷 As today marks the lockdown transition, we'd encourage everyone to follow UK government advice and wear 'face coverings' in places where social distancing isn't possible.

A massive shout out to Building BloQs who have been producing visors everyday for the last 5 weeks. 😍 Volunteers including U-Build have been working two shifts a day - 7am until late, to print and assemble 500 visors per day! THANK YOU 👏
