After a long and stressful week, I’m so thankful it’s finally the weekend. 💕🫶🏽

This Friday ended with hot chocolates, coffee, and doughnuts for this lovely couple after accompanying them to a hospital appointment. Without the support of Kind Hearts Kind Hands, attending this appointment independently simply wouldn’t have been possible for them.

This morning, during my visit, I was greeted by Mr K saying:

“Good morning, Samantha, the one who makes our world go round.”

It completely melted my heart. 💖After such a long and challenging week, I was very close to tears. 😭Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

Happy weekend, everyone! Whatever you’re doing, remember to be kind to yourself and take a little time out to rest and recharge.

Although, if I’m honest, that’s advice I probably need to take myself! 😊☕🍩 💕🫶🏽

This week our lovely Kate adapted her visit to spend time with one of our clients in hospital. 💕🫶🏽

She treated her to a coffee and they enjoyed playing a music quiz together. For people living with dementia, keeping routines, familiar activities and social interaction can be so important for wellbeing and reassurance.

A small act of kindness can make such a big difference. Well done Kate for going the extra mile. ☕🎶✨

, this week has definitely been a hot one ☀️

Some of our lovely clients have really enjoyed making the most of the sunshine, while for others we’ve been keeping a close eye to ensure they stay cool, hydrated and comfortable due to their vulnerabilities. 💕🫶🏽

Mel enjoyed a lovely trip out in nature with one of our wonderful clients, embracing the Five Ways to Wellbeing at Walton Gardens in the sunshine 🌳🌼 They also enjoyed a trip to Asda to stock up on some life essentials 💕🫶🏽

It’s been lovely seeing smiles, fresh air, friendship and support all coming together this week. 💕🫶🏽

🌟 Join Our Team – Casual / Bank Staff Wanted 🌟

Do you have a spare day — or a couple of days — each week?
Are you looking for some extra income while making a real difference?

At Kind Hearts Kind Hands we are currently looking for casual / bank staff to support our growing client base. We are unfortunately having to turn clients away at the moment, so we would love to hear from compassionate individuals who can help us meet the demand.

At present, we are unable to guarantee a fixed number of hours, as work would be built up over time. This role would ideally suit someone who:
✨ Is looking for extra income
✨ Has flexibility in their schedule
✨ Is passionate about providing person-centred care

We are looking for someone who shares our values — kindness, compassion, empathy, and respect — and who has some experience supporting individuals with either:
• Dementia
• Mental health needs
• Autism

Safeguarding knowledge or experience would be highly beneficial.

Must drive 🚗 due to clients appointments and outings!

We enjoyed a lovely day in the sunshine with one of our clients today ☀️

A peaceful trip out feeding the ducks and lovely dog walk with their pet 🐾 🐶 and then heading back to get stuck into making some delicious cookie dough 🍪

🎉👑 Happy 89th Birthday to our very own Queen Betty! 👑🎉

What a lovely day celebrating such a special lady! Betty was treated to a very unique performance… with Sam and Dancing Queen 🎶💃 (and yes, we absolutely improvised with a candle and cake! 🎂✨)

To top it off, the King and Queen now have their very own matching cups 👑☕fit for royalty of course! 👑

We then spent some time playing “getting to know you” card games, with questions like “tell us a time you got told off”… and safe to say, there were plenty of laughs shared between the four of us 🤭🥰The stories were priceless 💕🙌🏾

Moments like these are what it’s all about—creating joy, laughter, and memories together 🫶

Happy Birthday Betty, you truly are one of a kind 💐💖
