I’ve officially silenced my 2 AM body alarm! 💡🛌
For a long time, I was a "perfect" student of sleep - strict diet, fasting, earlier bedtimes (I often fell asleep in the chair as I was so tired) - and yet, I was still waking up like clockwork in a 2 AM panic 🫨
Then came the light bulb moment 💡
I realised that my "healthy" habits were actually keeping my nervous system on high alert. By treating my own struggle as a scientific research project, I discovered the missing link between blood sugar, cortisol, and that frustrating middle-of-the-night wake-up call ⏰
