A day filled with culture, great food, beautiful views and dancing the night away.

Whoever said the hotel doesn’t count lied.

Because where you stay can completely change the experience.

For our Bangkok trip, we checked into INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit, and it was the perfect base for exploring the city.

Great location, stylish spaces, good food, a rooftop pool and everything we needed after busy days exploring Bangkok.

When you’re travelling, the hotel isn’t just where you sleep. It’s part of the trip.

SAWASDEE, BANGKOK!

First time in Bangkok and I’ve arrived to host my GirlwithZest group trip, but honestly, I’m here for the FOOD!

Dropped my bags, hit the streets and hopped on a bike to beat the Bangkok traffic, ending up in the buzzing streets of Chinatown.

I stumbled upon a seafood café and had a Pirate’s Treasure cocktail, the biggest prawn I’ve ever seen and Pad Thai with a jumbo prawn.

And let me tell you, that Pad Thai went DOWN!

The bustling streets, incredible food and the warmth of the Thai people. Bangkok is already making a very good first impression.


And this was only day one. Stay tuned to see what we get up to!

Caught up with and some amazing Africans in London over dinner and drinks after their Stokvel performance on Saturday.

Good food. Great conversations. Even better company.

The dinner plans actually made it out of the group chat.

A little luxury shopping, an unexpected Jellycat mission (I still don’t get the hype 😂), catching up with my favourite SA at Fendi, and ending the day at Fenix in Mayfair in good company.

I had o e rule for the night: no second location. If you know, you know. 🇿🇦😂

Fenix is definitely worth adding to your London list for beautiful interiors, great cocktails, and a fun atmosphere.

Beyond the music and the performances, Saturday was about the people.

I caught up with old friends, met some incredible new faces and was reminded how powerful it is when a community comes together to celebrate its culture.

A day I’ll remember for a long time. 🇿🇦❤️

What a privilege it was to be part of this incredible celebration of Nelson Mandela Day and 30 years of South Africa’s Constitution in the heart of London.

From the unforgettable performances by Zakes Bantwini, Sjava, Msaki, Sun-El Musician, Thakzin, Mi Casa, Beatenberg, Jesse Clegg and the legendary Sipho Mchunu, to seeing Trafalgar Square filled with people celebrating South African music, culture and community..it was a day I’ll never forget.

There was something special about seeing South Africans and friends of South Africa come together to honour our shared history, celebrate our culture, and look ahead with hope.

Three islands. One unforgettable day.

If you’re visiting Athens, don’t just stay in the city—set sail and discover the beauty of the Saronic Gulf. From the car-free streets of Hydra to the charming waterfront of Poros and the famous pistachios of Aegina, every island had its own unique character.

The best part? It wasn’t just about the destinations. We enjoyed a lovely buffet lunch, drinks on board, live entertainment, traditional Greek dancing, stunning sea views, and met some amazing people along the way. It felt like a little Greek celebration at sea.

We booked this island-hopping experience through , and it made exploring three islands in one day so easy and stress-free. If you’re short on time but still want to experience more of Greece beyond Athens, I highly recommend adding it to your itinerary.
