Carers Week is an annual campaign that raises awareness of caring, recognises the challenges unpaid carers face and celebrates the incredible contribution they make to families and communities every day.

At Home Instead Bromley, Chislehurst & Orpington, we see first hand the dedication, compassion and resilience shown by unpaid carers. Whether supporting a spouse, parent, relative or friend, carers often put the needs of others before their own.

This Carers Week, we would like to say thank you to all those who provide care behind the scenes. Your kindness, patience and unwavering support make an enormous difference to the lives of those you care for.

Home Instead Bromley is proud to sponsor Sporting Memories alongside Bromley Borough Rotary Club, helping to provide a welcoming community space where people can come together, make connections and enjoy spending time with others.

Hosted by Sporting Memories at Bromley FC, these fortnightly sessions are dementia friendly and offer a fantastic opportunity to socialise, share stories and be part of a supportive group.

We are also looking forward to introducing some fun new activities over the coming months.

We were incredibly proud to see Karina attend the 2026 EWiF Awards as a finalist, celebrating the achievements of women across the franchising sector.

The event brought together inspiring business leaders, franchise owners and industry professionals from across the UK for an evening of recognition, networking and celebration.

Being named as a finalist was a fantastic achievement in itself and a reflection of Karina’s dedication, leadership and passion for making a difference within the care sector and our local community.
